Third Person Pov:

It was a sunny day in the quiet small town down in Pennsylvania. Taylor's father was out for the week, while Taylor stayed home to keep up with school. She wouldn't say she preferred to study than go on trips but if it meant she didn't have to spend time with her horrible step mother and her father, she would always choose to study than do that. Her father was a really wealthy man who often looked down on people who weren't on the same level as him. Her stepmother was the same, only ten times worse. Taylor couldn't stand a second in the same room with her stepmother. She was a horrible person and honestly she couldn't find one thing that her dad could possibly like about her.

Taylor's mom, on the other hand, was the sweetest and most down to earth person she's ever known. She might be a little biased because it's her mom, but Taylor genuinely has never seen any bad come from her mother Andrea. She wished she could only live with her mother, but legally her father never did anything for Andrea to take full custody of Taylor. So Taylor was stuck with her father every two weeks, and today it was day two of 14 long uneventful days. At least this week her father wouldn't be home.

As Taylor was doing her homework, she heard her phone ring. Confused, she picked up her phone to see who was calling.

Dad

She rolled her eyes but picked up anyway, not wanting to cause an argument for not answering her phone.

"Hello" She mumbled over the phone. She definitely didn't feel like talking to him.

"Well the princess finally picked up" He said in a sarcastic mocking voice, knowing it will irritate Taylor.

"What's up dad?" She rolled her eyes, putting her pencil down. "Well Taylor, Stephanie and I will be coming home earlier than planned. We'll be there in an hour"

Taylor mentally yelled as she rolled her eyes. She took a deep breath before responding. "Okay, see you later" She hung up and this time, left out the biggest sigh known to man and slumped down onto her bed.

Grumbling, she stood up from her bed remembering that she had to feed the dogs. Dogs that she absolutely hated but had no choice to take care of since her father wouldn't. As she opened the sliding glass doors, she noticed a young man, around her age, outside her house, a few feet away. He was doing something with the plants that her stepmother had planted a few months ago. She had never seen him before, so she decided to find out who he was.

"Hey! Who are you?" She asked, walking over to where he was crouched down. At her voice, the boy looked up at her and Taylor had to hold in her gasp when she saw him. He was beautiful. The prettiest man she's ever seen. Light, almost blue eyes, long lashes, a small beard, and short hair. As she took a look at him, she could also see that he was very tall and large.

"Oh, I thought no one was home. I'm Travis, the gardener. Mr. Swift hired me last week and gave me a key to the backyard to come here once a week" He introduced himself, taking his hand out of his glove to greet her. Taylor was lost in his eyes that she didn't even notice his hand was out to her. Travis awkwardly put it back down and that's when Taylor realized.

"Oh I'm so sorry, I didn't mean to leave you hanging. I'm Taylor, Scott's daughter" She introduced herself and Travis smiled. He'd never seen someone as beautiful as her. She had gorgeous blue eyes that shined as she talked to him, long luscious blonde hair, a beautiful smile, and soft heart shaped lips. He was entranced by her beauty.

"It's nice to meet you Taylor, I wasn't aware Mr. Swift had such a beautiful daughter" He grinned. Taylor blushed a dark shade of red as her lips turned into a wide smile. "Why thank you Travis, I wasn't aware my father hired such a handsome gardener" She flirted back, making Travis match her reddened cheeks.
