And, I realize that before I know it, a full month has passed .. my arm and leg are recovering well, and .. the day of my discharged arrives. "Yay! You're finally getying discharged, Natsume!" Aoi said and she's happy "Isn't it great! Your arm and leg both healed safely. Although .. you'll still be on crutches for a little while." Aki said "yeah. But, well, you can walk again." I said to Aki "So, when we get home today, we'll throw a celebrate Natsume's discahrged." Mitsuka want to celebrate for today "Hahaha. Thanks" on my discharged day, all of Famille rushes over, livering up my sickroom. The doctor gently smiles as he watches over this. "Even so, .. I'm suprised it healed tjis quickly. I wonder if it's because of your girlfriend's nursing." The doctor said "!" Sayaka open wide her eyes. "Huh!" Ren also. As the doctor directs his gaze to Sayaka, everyone looks worried .. in the slightly unpleasant atmosphere, Aoi murmurs. "A-about that! Sayaka .."

"A-about that! Sayaka .." Aoi try to talk to her about her dream "Yeah ..?" She answer it. "That is ..have you really .. had enough of your dream of becoming a nurse?" She said to her It seems like Sayaka has told everyone about that, she gave up on her dream .. after a silence .. Sayaka opens her mouth.
"Yeah .. I've had enough of it." She said As always, Sayaka's determination is unaffected. While I watch her like that, I speak haltingly .. "Sayaka .." I called her "what?" She said "before discharge .. will ypu come to the roof with me?" I ask her. "Huh?" She look at me "I have an important matter .." I said "An important matter..?" She ask

The surrounding Famille members cock their heads, too. For a bit, Sayaka shows a bewild ezpression, but .."understand .. let's go yo the roof?" She give me an answer to follow with me to go to the roof, together. I stand up, and looks back at the Famille members. "Sorry. Can everyone wait here a bit?" I ask them "Y-Yeah, understand.." Aoi said that. And lastly, the doctor speaks up to me. "Oh. May I speak a moment? Natsume, before your discharged, you have your final checkup. Please be back before then." The doctor tell me "I understand." I nodded to the doctor.
. . . Like that, I go to the hospital roof with Sayaka. Leaning against the handrail .. I open my mouth. "Sayaka .. first, please let me give you thanks to you." I said "Thanks...?" She ask "Yes .. I'm sure that my speedy recovery is due to your nursing Sayaka. I truly thank you." I thanked to her for nuraing me at the hospital "Hahaha! It was no big deal." I shake my head at Sayaka's words. "Sayaka, your nursing was gentle, and .. allowed my body and my heart to relax. I think that's why I could rest calmly in the hospital." I told her "I see.. I'm glad if I'm helped." She said. "Yes, so.." "Sayaka, I think you really .. should be a nurse."

Sayaka's eyes open wide at my words. But she immediately looks away in discomfort. "Didm't i say this before, Natsume..? I'm .. not suited to be a nursing. Let's say I try one more time, and aim to be a nurse one more time .. and, .. injured somebody again .. it might not be something recoverable!" She said to me. "Sayaka!" Sayaka's face contorts in pain.. (Isshe remembering when I fell down the stairs..?) Before, when I saw Sayaka suffering like this, my chest tightened. I couldn't find anything to say, and closed my mouth. (But today .. I have to say it right!) "Sayaka .. The reason you worry like that .. is because you're so kind, Sayaka."

I smile at Sayaka's suprise. "The way you worry, and remember you guilt, .. is becauae you're so kind .. you're always thinking about someone else's needs. I think someone like that .. should really take a job helping other people." I said "B-But! After all! When I .. injured you, Natsume? Even so, .." she said "Please don't drag my injured around like that!" I yelled at her. For me .. I think I sais something unreasonable .. when there's no way this kind person could ignore hurting somebody. (Even so!) "I just! I just don't want you to suffer because of my injury, Sayaka! I just .. want you to reach for your dream one more time .. That's all I wish for!" I tell her.

While franticly conveying my words, a smile spills out consciously "Also .. didn't we promise?" I said "...? Promise..?" She ask. "That when you become a nurse, Sayaka .. I'd take you as my bride." I tell her about our promise. "Oh!"

* Flashback*
" ... will you give me some reward, when I become a nurse?" She said that once "Okay. What do you want?" Ask her "Well then ..Natsume, I want you to make me your bride."

"No joke, I really want to go through with that promise." I said "Thanks.." Tears drip from Sayaka eyes. Rubbing them away with my fingertip, I smile softly. "Natsume, i understand your feelings. I'm happy that you're still rooting for even now .. But .." Sayaka hangs her head with a complicated expression. "Aiming to be a nurse from now .. Is already .. too late..."
