"A Divine Prophecy"
The divine moment at the temple lingered in Anand and Bela's minds as they returned home with their newborn daughter. The mysterious words of the tapasi echoed in their thoughts, leaving them both bewildered and curious. Though they were filled with immense joy, a strange feeling of anticipation loomed over them. What did the hermit mean by "something big was about to happen"?
The sun had just begun to set when the small family finally reached their home in Delhi. Their modest yet elegant apartment, adorned with simple decor and warm hues, welcomed them back. The walls, painted in light shades of cream, were lined with photos of Anand and Bela's wedding, and a few framed images of Radha and Krishna stood proudly in the living room.As soon as they entered, Anand carefully placed their daughter in the cradle they had set up near the window.
She was still awake, her wide eyes gazing curiously around the room as though taking in her new surroundings.
Bela (gently placing a hand on her husband's arm): "Anand, tumhe woh tapasvi ki baatein yaad hain? Usne kaha tha yeh sab koi saadharan baat nahi hai... kya tumhe lagta hai kuch...
"Anand (interrupting softly, still looking at his daughter): "Mujhe nahi pata, Bela. Magar jo kuch mandir mein hua, woh sab Radha Krishna ki kripa thi. Shayad yeh bacchi sach mein unki koi alag hi leela ka hissa hai."
Bela nodded, though her mind was still clouded with uncertainty. The day had been filled with strange occurrences, but seeing their daughter smile and open her eyes for the first time in front of Radha Krishna made her heart believe that this child was indeed special.
After a few quiet moments, Anand's phone rang, snapping them both out of their thoughts. It was his mother, Jaya, calling from Mathura to check in on them.
Jaya (over the phone, her voice filled with excitement): "Anand beta, sab thik hai na? Tumhare ghar pahuch gaye? Beti kaise hai?
"Anand (smiling, replying warmly): "Haan maa, hum abhi ghar aa gaye. Beti bilkul thik hai, aur sabse badi baat, mandir me usne apni aankhein khol di! Aur usne pehli baar muskuraaya bhi."
There was a pause on the other end as Jaya absorbed this news. Her hand instinctively went to the beads of her prayer mala, as though the news had struck a deep spiritual chord within her.
Jaya (in a soft but firm voice): "Yeh toh Radha Krishna ka bada hi mahan ashirwad hai, Anand. Humari poti zaroor koi anokhi kismat lekar aayi hai is dharti par."
As Anand shared the details of the temple incident with his mother, Jaya grew more convinced that their granddaughter was destined for something greater than what they had imagined. Her heart filled with a mix of pride and devotion, she began planning for a small ritual at the ISKCON temple in Mathura, to formally present her granddaughter to the deities.
Meanwhile, back in Delhi, after the phone call, Anand and Bela sat together on the sofa, quietly watching their baby. The gentle rise and fall of her tiny chest as she slept filled the room with a sense of calm, but neither of them could shake the feeling that something more awaited them.
A week passed through and both of them come to their normal routine with the addition of happiness as their baby girl.
The soft rustling of leaves outside the window was the only sound in the room as Anand and Bela gently rocked their newborn daughter in her cradle. Her peaceful breathing and tiny movements filled them with warmth, yet they couldn't shake off the mysterious events of the past few days, especially the incident at the temple that had left them both in awe.
Late in the evening, the serenity of the room was interrupted by the sound of Anand's phone ringing. It was his mother, Jaya, calling from Mathura. Anand answered quickly, smiling as he heard her voice.
