Hannah was a little depressed and extremely confused.
Mickey told her he loved her, but he also married Svetlana.
She was avoiding him, despite the fact that Ian, Lip and Debbie told her multiple times that they had seen him, looking for her.
Hannah didn't want to face him because she had no idea of what she could possibly say to him:
"Hi, I love you too! How's your wife and unborn child by the way?"
Nope, that would just be very very weird.
"Han... I have to go. Are you finally gonna go talk to him today or what?" Ian asked her after entering her room
"Nope. What about you? You got Rotc on the last day before Christmas break?" She said, noticing his outfit
"Yeah, they're having some sort of winter ceremony."
"Cool. I have a shift in like 30 minutes and Rotc is on the way to the movie theater right? I can give you a ride because my coworker Olivia is picking me up in like 5." She offered
"No, it's okay. I can walk"
"You sure? It's really no problem at all." Hannah asked again
"Nah don't worry, I kinda need the walk anyway. But I'll catch you later yeah?" He said before heading out
"Oh, Okay. See ya!"

A few hours later, Hannah was helping Fiona with the decorations of Lip's graduation party.
She decided to go check on Ian, since he seemed a bit weird earlier.
As she walked over to his room she saw Carl leaving, knife in hand.
"What is Carl doing with your knife? The number one rule in this house is that you don't leave Carl with weapons." She said to Ian
"He promised he's not gonna use it on anything living." Ian said chuckling
"Going somewhere?" She asked, nodding to his bag
"Rotc retreat."
"Since when?" She questioned
"Last minute." He answered
"Bullshit."
"Okay. It's not for Rotc." He admitted
"You should know that can read you like a book Ian."
"Yeah, ever since we were kids..."
"So, why are you packing for?" She asked again
"I'm going to enroll. In the army." He explained
"Ohh yeahh. Soldier Ian!" She laughed, not taking him seriously
"I'm serious. I go tomorrow at 8am."
