SMG4 holiday

chapter 6 - reassurance and cuddles

The time was 11:43 and SMG4 had gone for his daily morning walk. It was a nice sunny day and he wanted to clear his head that was full of stressful thoughts about the holiday.

'what if 3 doesn't like the holiday? '
'what if 3 breaks up with me because of it? '
'what if I'm late to the airport? '
'what if I forget to bring my suitcase? '
'what if the holiday is horrible? '
'what if we get lost? '
'what if everyone gets mad at me? '
'what if everyone hates the holiday? '

4 shook his head to snap out of this thoughts and pulled out his phone and text the group chat, asking if they wanted to meet up to talk about the holiday hoping it would reassure him and they all agreed. They all met up at the showgrounds and sat down inside.

"okay guys! so meet at the airport at 6 tomorrow, ready for the flight at 8!" Meggy announced

"yayyyyyy!!" Boopkins said excitedly.

"MAMA MAMA! MARIO IS SO EXCITED!" Mario shouted.

"me too!" Luigi exclaimed

"SEXY BOB IS GONNA HAVE SO MUCH FUN. " Bob cheered.

"Saiko and I have matching suits!" Tari grinned.

3 was excited too as he looked as his friends all happy and jolly but he saw 4 out of the corner of his eye, putting on a false smile.

'I don't know how the others don't realize it, he's obviously hiding something he's upset about, maybe it's just boyfriend instincts? ' 3 thought to himself

"hey 4, can you come here a sec, please?" 3 asked while reaching out his hand and softly smiling.

4 took it and followed 3 into another room. They went into 4s bedroom and sat on the bed. Meanwhile, the others muttered to themselves and were asking each other if their good friend the blue meme guardian was okay.

"4, what's up, I'm not mad at you or anything, you just looked a bit upset and worried about something?" 3 questioned, the blue meme guardian looked down and felt guilty that he'd made such a big deal. 3 put one hand on 4s chin and lifted his head up to make him look at him.

"hey, I'm here for you, you can talk to me." 3 reassured

"I....i....I'm just stressed about holiday, I want everything to go perfectly and I'm afraid I might go insane again trying to make that happen. " 4 admitted whilst trying to hold back tears.

"babe..." 3 said feeling awful that his boyfriend feels that way. 4 immediately hugged 3 and let his tears fall.

"what if I forget my suitcase or what if I'm late for the airport? I could get lost in Spain and I wouldn't know where to go! The holiday could go horribly wrong and completely ruin your birthday gift and then you might not love me anymore! and then everything will go wrong! and then everyone will be mad at me! and then! " 4 couldn't get his words out fast enough, he hugged 3 tighter. 3 was completely heartbroken from hearing him in such distress.

"im so sorry you feel that way but I'm glad you told me so I can try to make you feel better. How about, I'll stay over with you tonight to get you up on time and I'll make sure you don't forget your suitcase. Don't worry about getting lost, I'll be with you at all times, even if some of the crew get lost or are late, they will be fine, I promise. " 3 held 4 close and slowly stroked the back of his hair.

"even if the holiday goes wrong which I'm 100% sure it won't, we'll be okay, I know we will. The crew and I could never me mad at you for anything, youre too cute to be mad at! " 3 chuckled and 4 giggled, he sounded calmer and his breathing got less heavy.

"I will always love you, I swear, and if anyone tried to hurt you, I wouldn't hesitate to tear them limb by limb! I'm always here for you, I promise, I love you SMG4." 3 gave 4 a kiss on the cheek and they released their embrace.

"gosh 3, I don't know what to say, thank you for everything. I'd love for you to stay over and I really feel a lot less stressed about it now. You always seem to be able to calm me down, thank you so much. I love you so much SMG3, I dont know what id do without you! "

4 wiped some tears off of his face and looked at 3 who was smiling at him.

"you don't need to think about that, babe! you're never gonna be without me! I love you too!"

they shared a quick kiss and left the room to join the others, holding hands.

"hey, SMG4, you okay?"  meggy asked while looking at 4, then 3, then back at 4.

"yeah I'm okay guys! thanks for asking and checking on me!" 4 said, smiling truthfully.

Everyone left the showgrounds and went back home apart from SMG3. The time was now 1:27.

The meme guardians played video games and spoke about all the positives of holiday and what they were looking forward to the most. They must've got carried away because now it was 7:30.

"ima get changed into my pyjamas, we need an early night since we are getting up early tomorrow." 3 yawned

"me too!"

the pair walked into 4s bedroom and 3 soon realized that he didn't bring anything to sleep in.

"I have some spare pyjamas if you need, I don't mind?" 4 asked

"yeah thanks, honey!"

4 passed 3 a baggy purple T-shirt and some blue shorts. Little did 3 know that his boyfriend wore a baggy blue t-shirt and purple shorts so that they would match.

"we look so cute!" 4 squealed. They took some photos that they sent to the group chat and went into bed. 3 opened his arms and 4 crawled into them. The blue meme guardian wrapped his arms around him as 3 held him lovingly.

"goodnight my love." 3 kissed 4s head. The blue eye held onto 3 tighter and mumbled,

"goodnight my handsome prince."
