chapter 18 - waterpark :D

moral of the shot: the crew are in ubers going to a water park.

The windows were fully rolled down and the cool air blasted in Uber number 1. They requested the same French guy that they had previously and him and 3 chatted in the fron seats. In the back was SMG4 and Tari who spoke about what slides they were going to go on. They were looking at photos on 4s phone until he went onto the notes app, typed something in and showed it to Tari. It read, 'should I force 3 to come on the tallest, scariest water slide there is?' he giggled as he watched the blue hair read it. She took the phone and typed back in. 'hahaha yes! That sounds so good! ' the two of them chuckled and caught 3s attention.

"what are you two giggling about?" 3 asked, turning round from the front seat.

"Nothing! don't worry SMG3," Tari assured.

"You'll find out later, no need to panic!" 4 chuckled

The purple meme guardian gave them a skeptical look with squinted eyes and turned back round. They looked at more photos and watched videos of people going down the really big slide and screaming. They were so excited to drag their partners on and hear their screams of fear or joy.

Meanwhile

In uber 2, Meggy sit in the front, mario in the back next to Boopkins and Luigi. The green fish read his Miku x Reader comic whilst the Italians sat patiently. It was pretty much silent apart from the occasional indicator clicking to signal what direction they were turning.

Both ubers had arrived at roughly the same time and the crew were all together again. Tari was sat upon Saikos shoulders and 3 and 4 ran in together hand in hand. They split off into their own groups ( 3 and 4, Saiko and Tari and Meggy, Mario and Luigi) and their laughs echoed the park.

Tari and Saiko went towards the rapids and 4 dragged 3 to the tallest slide of them all. The queue surprisingly wasn't that long so they only had to wait for around 15 minutes.

"are you excited, babe?" 4 asked cheerfully, still clinging onto his boyfriend's hand.

"definitely! are you?" 3 replied,  smiling.

"yup! you know, I think you're a bit nervous for this ride." 4 accused, pulling 3s cheek teasingly.

"pfft! me? scared? HA! you must be out of your mind! I'm not scared of anything! " 3 exclaimed.

"even if I told you that I know your password for your computer?" 4 raised an eyebrow as he smirked.

"if you're so confident, what is it?"

"hmmm if I recall correctly it's SMG34FOREVER."

"Uh-umm- uh-thats-t-thats-ummm...OH LOOK! it's our turn!" 3 stuttered, pulling 4 towards the slide. They crossed their arms and legs and were ready for the drop slide. The water was rushing down quickly and splashed everywhere. The life guard gave them the signal that they were able to go and they dropped 120 feet. They plummeted together their bodies slicing through the rushing water. Gravity pulled them swiftly down the steep slope, their screams of exhilaration echoing through the splash zone. They descended, arms and legs now flailing in joyful chaos until they hit the final curve, skimming across the pool with a triumphant splash. They were submerged before surfacing with wide grins and messy, dripping hair. Their excitement lingered, hearts racing from the wild ride. They couldn't help but compare who screamed louder on the way down.

"oh my gosh 3, you scream like a girl!" 4 laughed, finding it difficult to catch his breath.

"says you! you screamed like all the memes in the world had disappeared!" 3 replied back, giggling too. They held hands and walked around for a bit, hoping to find the others, their feet being submerged in water.

Tari and Saiko stood in the queue, excitement bubbling between them as they watched rafts plunge into the swirling rapids ahead. They exchanged nervous smiles, clutching the inflatable raft, eagerly talking about how wild the ride looked. As their time finally came, they hopped in, gripping the sides as the current grabbed hold of them. The raft surged forward, twisting and bouncing off the walls of the narrow chute, water spraying in all directions. They screamed with laughter as they hit each rapid, one wave drenching them and the next throwing them slightly off balance. After a thrilling ride, the water finally calmed, and they drifted into the shallow end, soaked and breathless. Climbing out, they exchanged grins, their wet hair clinging to their faces, already joking about who almost fell out first.

Meggy, Mario, Boopkins and Luigi found a lazy river and started to head towards it. The 4 of them jumped inside a ring and let the current take them. They drifted round the slide, occasionally bumping into one another. They all managed to get some shuteye and enjoyed the relaxing sensation of floating around without any stress or negativity.

After walking around for a bit, the meme guardians met with the girlfriends and spoke about their experiences with pure happiness on their faces. None of them had seen the others and it was getting late so they went to find them. Their feet squelching on the path that led them all around the park, giving them a tour of all the rides they were allowed to ride on. They walked round the what seemed to be endless path and there was still no sight of the 4. They decided to look around once more until they found them flowing in the calm current asleep and peaceful. They were woken up by an announcement on the speakers, informing everyone that the waves are starting soon inside of the main pool and to make your way over there if you would like to participate. They floated to the stairs and reunited with the others, raving about how much fun they all had.

As the sun set over the water park, laughter echoed in the air as they gathered together for one last ride. The days stress and worries washed away, replaced by the warmth of friendship and the promise of more fun times to come.
