"Ti ano natabo hay?" I know between the two of us I am the more curious person. But whenever he asked me like this, I appreciate the attention he's giving.
"gin-explain ko duman Saiya. Every time amo nalang sini? Way gid gasulod sa utok nya? Haha naugot na gid ko" me explaining how I'm frustrated with a new co-worker.
"amo nalang ni ang isipon mo, bal-an man sang tanan sa office nyo nga bright ka kag fast learner basi nabudlayan lang sila keep up saimo" with those words. He can calm me down making me realized how he's more mature than me.
"So how's your day" I asked him once our video call started. I know how frustrated he can be with his work.
"liwaton ko naman ang site development plan kay may idugang naman sila nga facility. Tani sang una palang nga meeting nadesisyunan na nila na" he answered while he was working in his computer.
"Nagdinner ka na? do you want me to order food for you? Ice cream? Para hindi ka na stressed" What I love the most is buying him food whenever I can't cook for him. He didn't answer so I decided to order food for him. He is so busy he can't even cook.
I just stared at him while he was working. We really live in different world. He lives in the city while I transfer location from time to time because of field work.
After 20 minutes his doorbell rang. Sign na his food is being delivered.
"Tapos na work mo?" he asked over the phone.
At the moment I am in Palawan for a yearly monitoring. We haven't seen each other for months. I stopped by to his place whenever I'm in manila for work.
"yep. Pahuway lang kami tas mga 10 pm we'll start our night monitoring" I answered as I seat on the sofa in our bunk house.
"ti ano pa abrihi ko" I immediately jumped out of the sofa not minding my pamaol and ran into the door.
"oh my God. Tuod gid man nga ara ka!" I hugged him because I badly miss him.
"Puti puti ka ba" he jokingly noticed my field work tanned skin.
He would do this, visiting me at my work.
"Namiss ta gid ka balaaaaa" I hugged him tighly
"hinay lang basi Mapusa ko" then he hugged me back.
On holidays like Christmas, we would go home to our parents' house. He would pick me and we would spend time together somewhere. He would accompany me in my annual renewal of friendship with my college friends.
"Way ka pa natak an sa batasan ni Jasmine?" one of my bestfriend asked him.
"script mo na gid na? Kada tuig amo nalang na pamangkot mo saiya? Ako pamangkota kung wala pa ko natak an saimo" I jokingly rebutted him.
"Kaya pa man antuson ah. Mga forever pa ah" he answered my bestfriend.
I would melt inside whenever he answers that. My friends knew how my Batasan is unbearable. Atleast at my point of view.
"mayad way pa natak an saimo imo nobya" I jokingly told my bestfriend.
I love how he is close to all my boy friends and seniors from college.
"annyeong! Where are u po?" I asked him while I'm about to board my flight to manila.
"Office. How about u?" hope his having a peaceful day at work.
Upon arriving at manila. I immediately booked a grab to his condominium.
"Lovey, did you eat your dinner na ba?" I called him once I was out of the grab.
"Pa-gawas pa lang ako sa condo building. Mabakal ka panyapon. How 'bout u?" then I spotted him walking.
"Yeah. I'm about to buy man" He walked past by me then I grabbed his arms and held his hands.
"Hoy! Ngaa ari ka di?!" he hates surprises but what can I do I love surprising him.
"Kay manyapon na ta. Dali na gutom gutom na gid koooo" then we went to our favorite fast food – Jollibee.
"May meeting ako sa isa ka partner namon bwas and I am free this weekend, so I decided to spend my weekend with you" He asked why I suddenly came to manila.
"Din ta malagaw hay?"
"Sunod na ng lagaw. Pamahuway ta sa condo mo" It is refreshing whenever I get to spent my day offs with him. He is always my pahuway.
"Dasig lang ang panahon ba" he stated after I shared that I'm done with my annual monitoring works.
"gani. Sa bohol or dumaguete office guro anay ko basi need nila assistance" back then when we we're just strangers he doesn't give any attention for what I do. He's just there because he's part of the team. But after we parted ways and the met again, he started getting curious of my work.
"wala kamo office dre sa manila, no? Nami tani kung dre ka lang anay sa manila stay" he stated. After our dinner we decided to walk in the nearest park and talk about things.
"basi kung may ara na dire na guro ko magpa assign hahahha" I miss him every day. Kaya I am willing to sacrifice my love for field work just to be with him.
He just laughed because he knew how I love field works than office works.
