▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀𝐜𝐡𝐚𝐩𝐭𝐞𝐫 𝒔𝒊𝒙Moving car trudging up an unbelievably high frozen over mountain, thick tires leaving trails behind its circular movement through the packable snow. Sprinkling from above with the scorching sun melting it in its wake.
Side to side Tyler's body moved and jerked. Stimulated from the rough movement of the car though he didn't seem to completely mind the slight turbulence when the piercing gaze belonging to his own caught the green's of Kira's across from him.
Lower waist buckled up with a winter suit on her body to get it accustomed to the sudden cold. Goosebumps arose on the back of her neck and chills flew down her spine from the freezing air that seeped into the back of the truck through the open window that stayed open, it's hinges to old and rusted to try and close it even after all these years of the truck being in Yaz's possession.
The tip of Kira's sniper clanked against the metal wall periodically through the silence. The leather holster on her thigh dug into her skin as well as a smaller gun that was originally nestled inside the holster. The larger tip that dug into the side of her thigh. The holster wasn't all the problem, she'd just have to remind herself to adjust the straps later on.
The mission in question started the minute Kira stepped foot inside that building, her name was re-registered into the advanced technical program and all her rights given to her at 21 were now back in the care and possession of herself. Meaning she was now able to recruit her old team if necessary to without the higher ups sniffling their noses in her business like an unkept animal.
This game they played with one another. Started the second her boots touched the filthy truck ground, green eyes blaring emotionless into the pair's of blue that held her stare equally well. Silence lingered in between them, the other keeping their mouth shut and refraining from breaking the silent streak.
Side to side they swayed. Side to side with unwavering eyes, ones of Tyler kept on Kira even when hers averted, breaking apart the contest and ending the game. He watched her where he sat in the quiet truck. Following her figure wherever she went or evidently where she could go in the small back.
When her body sat back down across from him and moved around for a comfortable position to stay in for a few more minutes- Kira glanced up, meeting the gaze of Tyler's who she had thought would have been looking elsewhere by now. Raising an eyebrow- "Problem? what's with the staring?"
"Not starin' observing"
"Why"
"We're goin' to be workin' together for the next 5 weeks as partners to whom we know nothing about regarding each other. The "staring" is quiet necessary"
Kira raised an eyebrow, mouth slightly agape. Corner of her mouth twitching upward into the slightest smirk to appear. She eyed Tyler silently as the man himself finally broke off the gaze he held on her for over an hour.
Kira had worked with men her entire life, 99 percent of her team back in 2008 were boys becoming men, mainly because they were all young and she had the chance of seeing them grow- but in all those years, she never really heard any of them use sass, -although, she wouldn't put it past Archie to say something like that- hearing it from Tyler who seemingly came off as someone who was stern and direct was quiet shocking to say the least. Need she say, even a little funny.
