Chapter 23: Rage Problem
Ben walked up to Ace's room
Nick saw Ben
Nick: - Ben? What's going on? I saw Ace come up here crying and then he slammed his door closed.
Ben: - I'm not sure what happened, but Ace hurt Alex and Sally
Nick: - Wait what? Why?
Ben: - That's what I came here to find out
Ben tried to open the door but it was locked. He knocked at the door
Ace: - GO AWAY!
Ben: - Ace, please let us in
Nick: - We want to help you
Ace: - ...
Doorbell rang
Ben: - Who's at the door at this hour?
Lisa opened the door, and saw it was Kenny and his parents
Lisa: - Come on in you guys
They walked in
Jake: - What are you 2 doing here?
James: - When Kenny came home, he said Ace did something at the dance
Lisa: - What happened? Can you tell us?
Kenny: - Well, something happened in Ace's mind, which caused his eyes to turn red, and he punched Alex and hurt sally
Jake: - Oh no. I feel like I'm going to be called to the school for what Ace did
Lisa: - Yeah, but then, why was Ace crying?
Kenny: - ..... Sally broke up with Ace
Jake: - Poor Ace. It must have hurt him so bad that he locked himself in his room when he came home
Kenny: - Speaking of which, where is Splat?
Lisa: - He and his kids are down in the gaming room. Do you need to talk to him?
Kenny: - Yes I do. I'll just head down there
Kenny, Ben, and Nick went down to talk to Splat
Splat's kids are playing games while Splat is reading a book
Kenny: - Splat, can we talk with you?
Splat: - Oh, you guys are back. How was the dance?
Ben: - It was good, until the end
Splat: - What happened? I heard the door slam upstairs, and if I had to guess, it must've been Ace
Kenny: - Well, everything was going fine, then something happened to Ace after receiving his reward, and he punched Alex and hit Sally in the face. When that was happening, I tried to see what was going on in his mind, but it was fogged up and I couldn't understand
Ben: - He then turned back to normal and had no clue about what happened. Sally then went up to Ace, and told him she is breaking up with him, which made him sad. That's when he came home and locked himself in his room
Splat: - I was afraid if this
Kai walked over
Kai: - Dad?
Splat: - Yeah Kai?
Kai: - I feel like it's my fault. I made his day bad
Splat: - Why would you say that?
Kai: - I put paint on his face and posted the picture in his football group chat
Kenny: - Why am I not surprised
