The ride home with Giovanni was tense, after being dragged away from his newly introduced acquaintances and ushered into the car. Ares had noticed how the two sides were glaring at each other but decided to not ask for fear of making his already awkward situation even worse. Neither spoke as they sat in silence till they entered the house. Where Ares was sent to his room, slamming the door behind him in frustration. He didn't understand what was such a big problem, sure they were strangers but they helped him out when he was in a tight spot, so there was no need to be rude to them. And he didn't even get to say goodbye.

"Ares, come fai a conoscere quegli uomini?"

Those were the first words that came out of his mother's mouth when he was called into the living room, as he stood at the bottom of the stairs watching his mother and father. Who were both as white as paper, they looked like they were about to be sick. "Li ho incontrati due quando ero nel negozio di Luigi, gli ho impedito di truffarli e gli altri li ho incontrati oggi perché" But his explanation didn't seem to soothe the situation as it only seemed to make it worse.

"Avrei dovuto prevederlo, non avremmo dovuto metterci troppo a nostro agio ora che ci ha trovato!" Now Ares was scared, he had never seen his mother like this. She was nothing short of histerical as she paced around the living room pulling at her hair, and then she said it. "Dobbiamo partire, stasera"

"Io preparo I passaporti e I documenti, tu inizi a preparare le valigie, solo che dobbiamo partire prima dell'alba" Giovanni said springing into action running upstairs, and Ares was left speechless as he looked at his mother who was still deep in thought. "Leave the country why? Mom, what's going on, aren't you making a big deal out of nothing? They were strangers just being nice, we don't leave the country because of that." Ares tried to reason with his mother, he didn't want to leave Italy especially since it had started to feel like home. The last thing he wanted to do was abandon it and for what, over a stranger's random act of kindness?

"You don't understand Ares now go pack your bag," His mother snapped, her eyes widened with horror at the thought of staying here where he knew where they were. "Well explain it to me then, because I'm not leaving unless I get a damn good reason as to why." The blonde boy yelled his anger getting the better of him, "Ares I'm not in the mood to argue right now, just go and pack your bag!" Adara yelled eyes welling with tears as the world seemed to be crumbling around her.

"No I'm sick and tired of moving, and for what?! Now we finally have a place that feels like home and you want to leave over some strangers I met a week ago?!" The red-eyed boy yelled looking at his mother in disbelief, his eyes also glazed with tears. "My sweet sweet boy, I know this must be confusing to you but I will explain it all when we are safe and away from here now please pack your bags quickly"
