1. Izuku didn't really consider himself as a smart person at first.

Actually, he thinks of himself is stupid —well, that was before he met GodRat.

GodRat  was one of the strongest players on the chess site. He had beaten all  the other players —the creators of the game too, but that, we prefer not  to talk about it— and he had been undefeated. Making him the very first  in the game rankings —the first player in Japan, but also in the  world—

And then, one evening, after a particularly bad day, Izuku, on a whim, decided to play against GodRat.

He was surprised to see that he had won the game.

GodRat : It was a very good game! No one had ever beaten me before !

BunGreen : Thank you ! But I was not so good.

GodRat : Not that good ? I think you put yourself down a lot.

GodRat : I have to go, but if tomorrow you are free, would you accept a revenge ?

BunGreen : Yeah ! Why not, same time ?

GodRat : yes, same time. See you tomorrow, BunGreen.

BunGreen : See you tomorrow GodRat, and call me only Bun, please !

It was from there that their friendships began.

Rat knew Izuku was quirkless, and he didn't mind. To tell the truth, it fascinated him.

And then he met All Might and he told it to his new best friend, Rat.

GodRat : That asshole, I swear I'll make sure he retires early, after burning down Aldera of course.

Rat  knew that Izuku was going to Aldera, although he didn't know his real  name. Rat had said, when Bun was ready, he could tell his true identity.

BunGreen : No need, Rat ! It's okay, and then it's true, I can't be a quirkless hero.

GodRat : bullshit ! You would make a quirkless superhero !

GodRat : and he'll soon change his mind after you become a hero !

BunGreen : if you say so, but in any case, there is still little chance that I will succeed.

BunGreen :  Like, becoming a quirkless would be cool, because other quirkless  people might think it's possible to be a quirkless hero, and I might  also change the stats if I became a pro hero.

BunGreen : But the entrance exams are biased.

BunGreen : Like, the only chance I got into the exams would be with a recommendation.

BunGreen : And again, I'm not sure I could.

GodRat : Well, I think I know someone who could recommend you, even if they need your name.

BunGreen : I doubt anyone would recommend me lol

BunGreen : If you just want to know my name, it's Izuku Midoriya, we've known each other long enough for me to give it to you.

And it was true, they had known each other for 2 years now.

GodRat : Well, I'm Nezu ! The pro who will recommend you.

Izuku  hadn't believed it was Nezu, so he was still a bit surprised when he  received a letter from UA that said he was recommended by Nezu himself.

BunGreen : WHAT ?? HOW ? WHY ??
