Synopsis
The Dragomir family were royalty, even more then Klaus seeing as they were different kind of vampires called Moroi, who can go out in the sun but it irritates them so they could be seen with sunglasses or umbrellas, they're not immortal exactly but live longer then humans, they feed in non lethal increments and just like other vampires they have enhanced speed, sight, hearing, taste and touch and can heal and see in the dark.
So they had spent their lives ruling it side by side with Klaus but when him and his family not only left by fled the city of New Orleans leaving it in destruction, it left the Dragomirs to pick it back up, but Marcel Gerard had a few ideas himself that he though would help the quarter so he began working together with them.
And when he did, he got the opportunity to meet the Dragomir's daughter, Vasilisa Dragomir, who he had only heard of in description, which was angelic and that her beauty was very captivating.
But that wasn't all cause according to her family she had the rarest magic a Moroi could have, spirit magic.
Which made her an excellent healer, although if she used too much it would take a mental toll on her, seeing as anytime she sees something hurt or killed she wants to use her power on it where if she gets left in emotional darkness, a depression.
But she also can create illusions and make people see things that aren't really there, along with being able to see peoples auras, where reds love and orange tends to be if someone is immoral or dishonest, yellow is if someone's trying to figure something out, purple is passion or spirituality, gold are those with higher power and white tend to be humans.
Where her compulsion unlike other vampires can be used to an extraordinary extent, where if she uses too much it can drain her and physically harm whoever she's compelling. She accidentally uses it, not realizing her capabilities, seeing as she can also compel more than one person at once.
Which is why when the harvest came, she wasn't chosen like the other three girls, she was forced into it seeing as the witches wanted her power but to get it they would have to kill her, so when her family would not comply, they killed them, and forced her into it anyway.
Where having not been able to save her family, Vasilisa was in a depression for not being able to resurrect them that she didn't care if she lived or died, but Marcel and the other vampires did, coming in to stop the harvest but mostly save her.
And ever since then, Marcel had been hiding Vasilisa up in the attic above the church where nobody but him knew she was there so he could keep her safe and protected, although the power from the harvest had gone into her giving her more powers that she's not quite sure she can handle.
