Alchemy dragged her feet to McGonagall's office. It was the middle of the night and she doubted that the professor was even up but her jounal was in her office. "Alohamora.." Alchemy whispered and the lock was opened and she slipped inside. In the room there was plenty of books and various objects that seemed to be asleep. Even the paintings were snoring like pigs. Alchemy went go the chest that held her jounal and unlocked the lock with the same spell from before and grabbed it.
Something falling down made her freeze up. Her heart pounded and she tried not to breath. It got very silent and Alchemy waited to get caught. It wasn't the first time she had snuck in here but it would be the first time she had gotten caught. A few seconds later something wavered by the books and she heard an all too Familia voice. "Where is it!?" Nothing seemed to say but Alchemy knew that wasn't the case.
"Fred!" She hissed at him. In response her older adoptive brother jumped and the cloak of invisibility fell to the floor. He looked behind him to see Alchemy Sighing. His red hair was a mess and he had bags under is green eyes.
"Jeez Alchemy, I thought you were McGonagall!" He said while holding his hand to his chest to slow his breathing. "What are you doing here anyway?"
Alchemy hid her jounal in her cloths and walked over to him. "I could ask you the same thing. Your making quit a bit of noise." Her voice was a whisper but not the shy one she often used.
"I'm trying to find the answers to the test tomorrow. Lily stole the cloak from her brothers for me. Ain't she a great cousin?" He smiled mischievously. He was definitely George Weasly's kid.
Alchemy yawned a bit tired. "Well good luck with that. Usally McGonagall keeps stuff like that by her desk, not bookshelfs." Then she walked out and headed up go the Griffindor Castle. Her bed was made and not slept in so she silently grabbed a quill from her desk top and sat down crissed crossed on her bed.
'Dear Jounal,
She began to write.
'Today I got in another fight with Jeanie. Spells were casted and I'm sure I only made my life here worse. This boy Scorpius Malfoy won't stop following me around. I think he is lonely becasue every girl seems to like him and the guys must be jealous. I don't understand why he just doesn't choose a girl and get friends like that.
Alchemy sighed and scribbled that paragraph out.
'Today I fell asleep by the willow tree and dreamt of a man with black hair. I believe his name is Snape but I can't be to sure. In the dream he was getting attack by a snake and he was crying when a boy was talking to him. Then it shifted to when Snape was younger and getting teased by someone named James, Wich is ironic because that's my cousins name. Anyway James lifted Snape into the air and into the willow tree I fell asleep at. A girl with red hair was screaming stop.'
Alchemy thought for a second debating on whether she should explain about the tears not being her sorrow...
'Then I woke up in the same hallway I always wake up in. The end.
Sincerely
Alchemy Z WeaslyAlchemy shut the jounal and set it under her bed. She layed down.
'How did I even get into Griffindor? I'm not brave...' Her mind wondered on the thing that had been bugging her since she was placed into the house. 'I'm a cowered..I can't even stick up for myself..' Soft snoring could be heard throughout the room. 'Maybe it was a mistake..' Alchemy glared at the bed fustraited and tired. Nothing made Sense..her wierd dreams, Scorpius, Jeanie, her place, hello even her purpose was a mystery. Alchemy got up and went down the stairs towards Hogwarts front doors. Only a few lights were one and she made a run for it towards the dark woods, where students were prohibited.
Inside the trees and thick bushes were magical things. Ones that muggle thought were just fairytails. Alchemy went deeper and deeper until her bare feet began to blister and she sat on a sideways tree. The moon was high and Alchemy fiddled with her neclace. Her whole life she had been with the Weasly's..she knew no one else like them, so bug with so little yet also so happy. "I wonder if my parents are like that..." She wondred out loud. She laughed foolishly at herself. Don't get her wrong she loved her adoptive family, they took cars of her, but sometimes at 2 in the morning Alchemy would wonder if she was worth anything to her real family. Did they even want her or did they just abandon her at the doorstep then run off?
Alchemy pulled out the map and spoke "I solemnly Swear that I am up to no good." And the map came to life showing her everyone's place in the castle. McGonagall was asleep and Fred was still in her office. Man he would kill her if he found out she had the map and hadn't told anyone. "So, let's look for Snape?" She asked herself then read the map. But there was no Snape, only sleeping professors and students. She put the map away and mouned in defeat. Alchemy looked at her neclace and stared at it. Like maybe it held the answers she was so desperately needing. The more she stared at it the more the rose seemed to move..and move, like it was blowing in the wind....
""Don't take my baby!!!!!!!!"" A women's voice yelled.
"We have no other choice.."" it was a man's voice this time. ""Obliviat."" He chanted the spell to wipe memories. A bright light shone and Alchemy blinked and soon the voices and light was gone. She was back in the forest stareing at a still rose on her neclace around her neck.
Her eyes went wide. "W-what was that?" Her voice was scraggly and horse. She stood up and staggered out of the forest to Hagrid's house. He would know what to do.
Knocking on his door rapidly Alchemy waited in anticipation hoping he would answer. A minute later Hagrid opened the door and saw her. "Alchemy? What are you doing here child?" He asked while she went inside uninvited. "Its way past curfew." He continued.
"I...I was wondering around and something happned.." She choked out. Then without warning, she fell forward her legs no longer able to support her and went unconscious.
"Memories are a great thing, until you realize the truth..." the cold voice shivered inside her head like a cold breeze that turned water into ice. "Then they'll be your worst enemy.."
