Chapter3- Trying to know her

~XAVIER P.O.V~

I thought my mate had the same feeling for me as I do for her. But why is she backing away?

"You better accept me soon, little mate," I whisper in her ear as she reaches the wall, I put my hands by her sides to keep her in place.

"Never, Xavier, never. I will never accept a player like you," she spatted out, hurt evident in her brown eyes.

"You will regret it soon baby" I say with a smirk.

I try to keep myself as calm as possible. It is not a pleasant feeling to be rejected by your mate, I can tell you that!

My hand raises up to touch her smooth hair, a gesture that I use whenever I want to sleep with one girl or another.

But her hair feels different.

Despite the amount of time I have done this, this is different.

Sparks run through my hand the moment my knuckles touch Aurora's soft cheek.

I turn my hand over and place my palm on her now pink cheek and feel the tingles making their way through my hand, sending electricity through my body.

I'm sure my little mate can feel the sparks as well, due to the mate bond.

~AURORAS P.O.V~

As soon as his hand drops, removing the sparks on my face, I let out a sigh.

I'm not sure if it was a sigh of relief or a sigh of disappointment.

Oh I love the tingles...

"HEY! princess! Snap out off the daydreaming!" Bella hollas playfully.

I giggle at the name she gives me.

"So where is Mr. Cocky Mate of yours huh?" she asks, wiggling her eye brows at the same time.

"He left after I reminded him how I rejected him," I blurt out, "I'm just...ughhh confuse! He is a player, he can pretty much sleep with any girl he wants. Why me? Why is he trying to make ME his?"

"You'll never understand boys," Bella laugh at the end.

"I don't know Bella, I don't even know what feelings I have toward Xavier right now," I exclaim in frustration.

"You know what? You need to cheer your butt up. Lets see... OOH! A GIRLS NIGHT OUT ALWAYS SOLVES EVERYTHING!" she says excitingly.

I smile slightly, I guess that would help.

"You're right. I'm thinking too much about the problem," I sigh.
"Maybe he is just playing with my feelings, you'll never know," I add.

"Cool! so your place after school?" she asks, even though she already know the answer.

"Duh how many times have we hung out?" I say in my best 'DUH' tone - which is amazing I might add.

"And don't worry. The problem shall be solved tonight!" she winks and walks away.

Of course she wouldn't let me get away with the problem that easy.
