~XAVIER'S P.O.V~

Ugh I will kill the rogues as soon as I finish punishing them in the pack cells.

No one hurts my mate. No one.

How they hurt Aurora with silver is still a mystery.

She has been unconscious for almost 4 days now.

Her face looks pale. Her lips is not as pink as they used to be. Though her face still remained naturally beautiful.

I walk out to where the pack doctor is standing.

"IS SHE OK?" my voice booms through the house once again, asking the pack doctor Kayla.

"She is slowly healing, Alpha," she mutters for like the 24th times in the pass hour, "they have somehow manage to attack the Luna with silver."

"Can't you do something about it? You're the pack doctor for the goddesses sake!" I complain, using my Alpha tone.

"The silver cuts and burns are healing slowly, I am giving her doses every hour, Alpha," she mutters back.

I start pacing around the room, then the house.

I start destroying the living room first, then our bedroom.

Ugh! Nothing seems to calm my anger down. I need to see her again. I walk into the bed room that Aurora is in again. The bedroom was near the pack doctors room and set up ready for any emergencies that may occur

"Xavi..er," a small, croaky voice says.

I turn around, tears start building up my eyes.

~AURORA POV~

I try to open my eyes which gives me a bad headache.

I try again, but my eyes are refusing to do the most basic thing an eye can do.

"Xavi...er," I try to call out. My voice croaks and my throat starts burning.

Without opening my eyes, I can feel Xavier's presence near me due to the mate bond.

"Aurora?" his voice cracks. I can feel his hot tears trailing down his face and onto my arm.

I try to open my eyes again and this time, luck is on my side. Even though everything is blurry, it is better than seeing nothing.

I blink a few times, trying to get my vision back and as soon as I did, my eyes land on my mate.

My vision gets blurry again, this time due to my watery eyes. My mate looks pathetic. His hair is messy, with a muddy crust decorating it. His face is pale while his figure is skinnier than normal. His lips are cracked and I can tell he has been biting them a lot. Dark bags under his eyes are obvious as well as them being red and puffy.

As soon as my gaze focuses on his eyes, I can see tears strolling down his face again. I want to stand up and comfort him so bad but my body wouldn't allow me.

He rushes out of the room, causing my wolf and I to panic. I let out a sigh of relief when he comes back with Kayla, our pack doctor and a cup of water.

He hands me the cup of water and kiss my forehead. I quickly drink the whole cup. The dryness from my throat disappears as soon as the cool water runs through it.

His eyes are still puffy from the crying but as soon as my lips land on his, his eyes widen but he quickly responds.

"I thought I'd lose you...." he whispers when he pulls back.

"I'm here now," I whisper back.

"Uhm... Luna, Alpha," she interrupts us, "can I please have a look at Luna's wounds?"
