The arena rumbles due to the roaring claps and screams from the audience before me. I smile ear to ear as I look around the room admiring how beautiful it was.

"THANK YOU VEGAS!" I shout into my microphone followed with a bow down. I jog my way off the stage whilst I blew kisses to the audience as the confetti swirled in the air falling all over everyone. As soon as I slip behind the stage curtains, I am engulfed in a whirlwind of affection. Arms pulling me into tight hugs, hands patting my back, voices shouting congratulations. My team and friends are everywhere, faces lit up with pride and excitement, their love and support pouring over me like a tidal wave, making me feel invincible like I could fly.

"You did so amazing y/n" Exclaimed my manager.

"Thank you Max!" I returned with a smile on my face.

My eyes scanned the backstage room for a familiar pair of soft brown eyes. My mom. My mom is my number one supporter. She comes to all my shows. I love my mom unconditionally. If im being honest, she's half of the reason why I am where I am in life.

Finally, I lock eyes with my mom. She greets me with a warm smile as I walk into her arms turning into a hug.

"You did great y/n." she said as she moved a strand of hair out of my face tucking it behind my ear.

I smiled "Thank you mom."

"Did you hear how loud the crowd was? they knew every lyric!" I shared my excitement with her.

"Yes baby. They loved you out there."

My mom's words filled me with a sense of pride that warmed my entire body. I wanted to soak in the moment a little longer, holding onto her embrace, but a small commotion in the corner caught my attention.

Max, my manager, waved me over, excitement evident on his face. "Y/N. I have some great news. I just got word that you're wanted to perform at Coachella! "

My eyes shot open "WHAT?" I blurted out. I can't believe what I just heard. The way my jaw dropped and eyes widened, one would've thought I just seen a dead body. "THIS IS AMAZING!" I manage to slip out, my words tumbling out through my grin.

"Yup. This is great for you y/n! This is an opportunity to expand your audience and let everyone see your talent shine." Max expressed with his face still brightened up.

I completely agree with Max. I might be a rising star, but I wasn't anywhere near Rihanna status. I have supporters around the globe, sure, but I wasn't a household name like Beyoncé. But who knows? Maybe one day.

"Max Max Max! I can't believe it! I'm over the moon. I don't know what to say." I say practically bouncing on my toes.

He smiled at my happiness and said "Im so happy for you y/n. Everything we worked for is paying off."

Before I could respond, Max continued "Lets get you headed to your fitting room so we can get out of this stadium. These things aren't cheap." he let out a chuckle as he gave me a friendly pat on the back of my shoulder.

I laughed at Max's comment, still buzzing with excitement as we walked through the maze of the hallways backstage. The energy from the show still pulsating in my veins, and I could feel my heartbeat syncing with the distant, fading echos of the audience's cheers.
