The Best Thing I Ever Did

I just got tired of everything. I don't have any strength left to fight, to claim what's mine, my freedom.

I just wanted to disappear or

I just wanted to run back to Lisa. Feel her warmth once again. And tell her everything so I know it will be fine.

But it's impossible.

As I look at the girl in front of me with her eyes looking back at me.

My eyes telling her how I miss her. But her's was telling me she was disappointed.

I can't blame her. After everything that happened, I can't blame her to feel that way.

I needed to choose, my own happiness or the girls I've been with and I chose the thing I know is right.

The girls are so lively having Lisa around us again. And she too looks so happy conversing with the girls. I'm just here looking at them, I don't have any face to initiate any conversation with Lisa.

"Since when are you here? Jeongyeon unnie and Jackson were here a few days ago" Chaeyoung said, Lisa was clinging to her shoulder and because she was too tall Chaeyoung was having a hard time holding her balance. "Would you get off of me please." She said and pushed Lisa.

Lisa laughed and went to Jeongyeon's side.

"I came back the same time like the others I just have something I needed to do that's why I can't see you girls like them. I'm with Wendy.

Wendy who was busy distributing the coffee that they bought, look at Lisa and wiggle her eyebrows.

"We're doing some adult stuff."

Nayeon gasped and quickly covered Tzuyu's both ear with her hands.

"Language! Wendy!"

Wendy laughed so hard until, Jihyo slap her thigh to make her stop and continue what she was saying.

"Ah! You girls are so funny! Anyway, as I was saying. Lisa and I need to do some adult stuff like having meeting with set of people. Lisa and I will built a business together here, so we are having meeting with lots of people. And since you girls are not a stranger to us, would you like to be part of it? I mean? Be a share holder? Or what so ever, if ever -"

Wendy was suddenly cut off with Tzuyu's abrupt raised of hands.

"Me! Me! Me!"

Twice laugh with her reaction.

"- you have a question my lawyer can answer all of it." Wendy finished off with a laugh.

Twice knowing how Tzuyu wants to invest in a business nodded their head. A foreign living and working here in Korea their salary or earning are a little different compare to those pure Korean like Jihyo or Nayeon. So ever since earning twice her first income Tzuyu wanted to invest it for her future.

Wendy and Tzuyu talked about the plans. While Jihyo went to Mina's side seeing her best friend staring at nothingness.

Jihyo didn’t say anything at first. She just stood beside me, close enough that our arms brushed. It was always like that with her, she never force me, never rushing me. She knew I would speak when I was ready. Or maybe when I finally broke.

“You look like you’re here,” she said softly, “but also… not.”

I let out a small laugh that didn’t reach my chest. “Is it that obvious?”
