Ancient Bond - Zenin Megumi

"Megumi, no matter what, I love you forever." Saying these words, the girl fell to the ground.

Megumi woke up, gasping for air. Hot beads of sweat ran down his forehead. Eyes wide open, he made his way to the restroom. He took off his shirt, revealing his pale body. Running the shower, he calmly took a bath.

Seeing his parents' picture hung on the wall of his dorm, Megumi sighed. "Mom, dad, you guys know that these days I've been seeing an unknown girl saying, 'I love you' and... I wonder what it is..."

Completely getting dressed up, he proceeded to the corridor. He locked his door and saw Y/N, his classmate and best friend, who was almost jumping while walking towards him.

"Oi Megumi!!!" Y/N placed her arm around his shoulder. "DO YOU KNOW?"

"What?"

"Yuji!"

Ah, their another friend...

"What happened to Yuji?"

"WE ARE DATING!" She screamed so loudly that Megumi had to push her head away from his ear.

"Really? Good." He started walking to the classroom. "What am I supposed to do if they are dating?" He thought.

She tilted her head and ran to him and wrapped his left arm with her hands. "Hey, what about doing some fun together? Let's go to the museum today!" She asked him.

"Why me? It's you two are going, right?"

"We three?"

"Y/N, no."

"We're going to your favourite place. You like museums, don't you?"

"No."

"Pleeeease"

"Just great!" He said to himself, and both headed to the classroom.

"WOW! Look at THAT!" Y/N yelled, pointing at a miniature form of Tokyo Tower. It was standing on the edge of the lobby of the museum building.

"What's there to wow on?" Both Megumi and Yuji thought, just that Megumi frowned and Yuji smiled.

Megumi started wandering around and seeing stuff that might be of his interest. Suddenly, his eyes landed on a painting. It seemed to be quite old, with two people, a male and a female, simple, right?

No! Megumi noticed that the male sitting there looked like him, from head to toe. As well as the girl standing beside him, or someone who looked like him, was an exact copy of Y/N!

People say true, there are a minimum seven people in this world who look alike! He postulated.

Megumi started reading the story laid beneath the painting.

It said:-
His highness Zenin Megumi was the last descendant of the Zenin Empire. He was known for his power and for having the strongest army among all the kingdoms. He had conquested many kingdoms for three years consecutively. His efficient ruling was the one that attracted many other kings, whereas his looks magnetised many princesses. But leaving all the beautiful princesses apart, Megumi fell in love with a simple girl living in his kingdom. When the girl, Y/N, got to know her love was the king, she couldn't help but fall for him even more. But her dad already arranged her marriage with some other man named Yuji, who lived in the neighbourhood village. Yuji was well known for his rudeness and every-day fights with almost all the people living in that village. The main point of Y/N's decline to this marriage was because Yuji was already married twice. One night, both the lovers planned and got married without the permission of her father. Time was running fast. They were living happily. One day the king and the queen were going somewhere by the royal carriage. Yuji and his gang killed them on the way and drowned their bodies in a lake. A fishermen found their dead bodies next morning. Yuji then usurped the throne and debuted as Sukuna. This was the end of the Zenin Dynasty.
