She stood in front of the open driveway, closing the door of the car behind her. The small button flowers and cosmoses were blooming around the small, pretty villa. She knew there was no paid staff in service of these. Toji Fushiguro himself takes care of the garden.

Her high heels made satisfying sounds on the smooth tiled lawn as she walked over on it. She dragged herself on the broad front staircase and hesitantly tapped the doorbell.

She came here many times but each time feels nervous whenever she meets Megumi's dad, Toji Fushigoro. To be honest, this man has a strong personality.

Today she came here to talk about Megumi's progress.

"Hello, miss Y/N." Toji smiled, standing in the middle of the entrance door, opening it up.

Y/N looked up at him. She clenched the small handbag in her hands with less confidence as she saw the man face-to-face wearing a black kimono and thin slippers. "Hello, Toji san." She smiled back nervously. "I'm here to talk about Megumi's progress."

"Okay. Come in, please." He stepped back from the door and pointed his hands towards inside.

"Such a gentleman," she thought herself.

He locked the door behind them and led her towards the living room. They walked through a short corridor and finally reached the small but cosy-looking living room.

"Please sit down, Y/N san." He said and sat on one of the couches. Y/N placed her small handbag and an envelope printing the logo of Tokyo Jujutsu High School on the centre table as she sat politely on another couch on the right side of Toji.

"So? How things going on, Y/N san?" Toji looked directly into her eyes.

"Oh my god, why do I always feel this nervous talking to Toji san?" She thought. "Mmm... I think we should talk about it, Toji san. Here is Megumi's progress report." She handed the envelope to Toji.

"Megumi pays less attention in classes, and hence her class test results are not up to expectations." She said as he nodded, opening the envelope, and pulled out the hard paper. He remains nonchalant.

"I'm not saying that someone has to do the best every time, but, actually, I have another reason to come here." Toji looked at her again as she stopped. He raised his eyebrows, and she continued, "You know your son; he's usually a spirited and cheerful boy. He works as hard as he can. But these days he seems a bit down and depressed."

"And what is it for?"

"I really don't know why. He spends more time alone and avoids his close friends."

"Anything can you suggest? What should I do? You know his mom died when he was only 5, and it's very difficult to grow up a child without a mother."

"Yes, I know. And I'm sorry for that." Y/N pauses. Toji nodded as if it were okay. "You may visit him, or maybe he needs a break. You can take him on a trip to the place he likes the most. I think it can help." She continued.

Toji smiled "That's a good idea." He paused for a moment, then offered her coffee. "I was going to make coffee for me. Would you like to have some?"

She tilted her head, removing her hair from the cheek. "If it doesn't bother you."

"Wait for a moment." Toji walked out of the room, leaving her alone.

She looked around the room. Fushiguros are so neat and elegant. The walls of the room were filled with various paintings, portraits, and also some photographs of Toji and Megumi.

There was a grand piano at the corner of the room. She walked towards it. It was old but clean. She lightly caressed the opened lid of the piano and sat on the bench in front of it. The bench was long enough that two people could easily sit on it.

Y/N started to play the piano in a slow tune. But she couldn't complete the line. She tried again but made the same mistake. She stopped playing as she heard the sound of Toji's slippers as he entered with cups on his hand.

"Sorry, Toji san, I didn't ask you if I could play this piano." She turned to him.

"No problem. Why did you stop?"

"I've made a mistake in the notes and can't complete it."

"Do you want me to show you?"

"Sure, please. Megumi said that you can play piano very well."

"Hahah, that brat... not that good. But I often played for my wife when she was alive. She loved it." His smile never faded away as he placed the cups on the centre table and sat on the bench next to Y/N. She felt the sorrow of his voice at the same time she felt thousands of butterflies in her stomach.

"Toji san," she wanted to say something but was stopped by him.

"Shsss... concentrate."

Y/N turned her face to him as Toji wrapped his hands around her small figure and put his palms on hers. His big body almost covered her smaller one.

Toji played the notes using both of their fingers, but here's the girl; she couldn't even take her eyes off of him.

Y/N couldn't concentrate at all because all the time her fingers were dancing along with his over the keys, she was looking at his face restlessly.

She shallowd as she felt a lump on her throat, a delicate pain in her heart. "What's this? Why am I feeling this unstable?" She thought.

Toji looked at her as he felt her gaze on him. His eyes met with hers. They locked their eyes for a whole minute as Toji's fingers were still dancing with hers, but the notes were getting messed again.

Toji started to interlock his fingers with hers and leaned closer. Y/N felt his warm breath against her lips. She couldn't even move, as she was totally captivated. After a few moments of staring into each other's eyes, they both felt that their lips met together. Y/N's eyes were widely opened, but soon she closed them.

It was a soft and gentle kiss. He pulled himself back and looked into her eyes. His own eyes were glistening as he saw her smiling slightly. He placed a hand back her head and pushed fingers through her hairs. Toji canoodled her scalp softly while pulling her again in a deep kiss. She responded as well.

They eventually pulled themselves back when they couldn't breathe due to the lack of oxygen. Toji placed his forehead on hers, panting as he cupped her cheek with his big palm and tracked his thumb over her lips when Y/N placed a hand on his firm chest.

"Do you want to go upstairs? Wanna visit my room?" He whispered in her ear.

She nodded, still clenching his kimono on his chest. Toji stood up and picked up her light body in bridal style and headed upstairs.

The coffee cups were carelessly left on the table, waiting to be cold.

Y/N couldn't tell how long she just layed there on Toji's bed with him, gasping heavily. Her brain was still mushy, her heartbeat was racing faster, and her vision was blurry. She has never come this hard before.

She noticed Toji slipping out of hers, but she couldn't even move her head. Everything was foggy and just so good.

Her senses only came back when she felt something warm and wet against the bare skin of her thighs. She tried to move, but Toji kept her in place. "Relax; I'm just cleaning you up. You've made quite a mess, you know."

"I'm sorry," she started to blush.

"Don't be. It was amazing, trust me. You're really sweet, Y/N, sweet as poison." He smirked while caressing her hair affectionately. He really had found peace in this pretty woman.

Since her mind slowly started to pierce itself back together, realisation hit her harder than a brick. This was it. She was done having sex, and there was nothing left to do or say. Funny enough. She already had fallen for this man, but there is no way Toji is going to fall for her anyway. Trying to fight back tears, she slowly moved to stand up again. Her whole body ached but she didn't even care. The ache in her heart was way worse.

Avoiding eye contact, she walked over to the other side of the bed where her clothes were lying, and she got dressed again.

"Wait, Y/N, what are you doing?" Toji whined.

The concern in his voice finally made her look at him. He was staring at her, confusion in his deep green eyes. Another pain in her chest made Y/N look away again.

"We're finished here, ain't we?" She practically felt a sharp pain in the core of her heart saying that. She didn't want to say it. It would just make everything more difficult. But what else should she do? She shouldn't have come to visit him today. She really shouldn't have.

"Please say no. Please don't let me go," she prayed in silence with an aching heart.

Toji sighed and stood up from the bed to put his clothes back on. "What? I mean... yeah... okay... if you want to leave, who am I to stop you?" He said in a lower tone, walking over to her.

"See you later." With that, she left the room and headed downstairs. Toji followed her as she reached the front door and opened it up herself.

"Y/N!" Toji called her from behind.

Y/N turned back to him, trying to hold back her tears. "Mmm?"

"Well... ahh... see you soon." Did he want to say anything else? Who knows...

Y/N nodded. With that she left, not daring to look back as more and more tears blurred her vision.

He was Fushiguro Toji. For god's sake, what's on earth made her think that someone as handsome as him would fall for someone as ordinary as her?

What she didn't see was Toji resting his back against the door with a sigh and waited until Y/N was seen. He sat on the stairs like a failure and covered his face with his palms after Y/N's car had disappeared.

He closed the door and entered the living room after some minutes. The coffee cups caught his eyes first when he slowly walked towards the grand piano. He caressed the keyboards as he sat on the bench where she was sitting a while ago.

Nobody had ever touched the piano but Toji after Megumi's mom's death. It gave him a sweet reminder when he heard Y/N playing it.

His mind was filled with sorrow. He felt a strange feeling after many years. Is it love? He wanted to ask Y/N to stay with him, at least a little longer. She made it obvious that she didn't want anything else. But it still tore him apart.

But it just made sense. She was the sweetest, most loving person he knew. Why would someone as amazing as her fall for someone as fucked up as him?
