Opening the locker he again found a strawberry cake with a note upon it

Taehyung let out a long, frustrated sigh as he stared down at the note he'd found in his locker. This was getting ridiculous. It wasn't the first time something like this had happened.

Along with the note was a perfectly baked strawberry cake, and the sweet, mouthwatering smell filled the small space of his locker. He'd found things like this before surprise gifts tucked away in his backpack, hidden in corners of his locker, and it was starting to get... a little much.

He ran a hand through his hair, still trying to figure out who the heck was behind it, when a voice interrupted his thoughts.

"Hey, Taehyung!"

Taehyung turned to see Yoongi walking toward him, a grin tugging at his lips.

"Hey, hyung," Taehyung said, holding up the cake in a mix of exasperation and confusion.

Yoongi's eyes immediately flicked to the cake. "Ahh, another gift from your secret admirer, huh?" he teased.

Taehyung just shook his head. "I seriously don't know who's doing this. It's been happening a lot lately—locker, backpack, you name it. I've got no clue."

Yoongi raised an eyebrow, his smirk widening. "Sounds like someone close to you is trying to get your attention."

Taehyung frowned, about to respond, but before he could say anything, the school bell rang, signaling the start of first period. Yoongi gave him one last amused look.

"Guess we'll figure it out later," Yoongi said, and then turned to head to his class.

Taehyung watched him go, still holding the cake in his hands, unsure whether to feel flattered or totally creeped out.

As Taehyung sat down in his seat, he couldn't shake the feeling that someone was watching him. He glanced around the classroom, trying to shake off the weird sensation, until his gaze landed on a student sitting at the back far enough from the front row to be practically hidden in the shadows.

The boy had a hoodie pulled so low over his face that only the faintest outline of his jawline was visible. Taehyung squinted, trying to figure out who he was. It bugged him that he couldn't place him right away.

Then, suddenly, it clicked.

The boy's name was Jungkook. He'd seen him around a lot, usually hanging out with Jimin. Taehyung knew Jimin well he was always around Yoongi, who, despite his usual indifference, seemed to have a soft spot for the smaller guy.

That connection made Taehyung stop and think. Why was Jungkook hiding his face like that? And why did it feel like something was off about the whole situation? Could he be connected to the mysterious gifts?

Before Taehyung could follow that line of thinking any further, the door to the classroom opened, and the teacher walked in, cutting his train of thought short.

She was the kind of teacher who didn't mess around. Her sharp eyes swept over the class, instantly making everyone straighten up. The moment she opened her mouth, groans of dread filled the room.

"Alright, everyone, listen up," she said with a stern look. "Tonight's assignment: pages 120 to 127. Get them done by tomorrow."

A collective sigh of despair echoed through the room. Math homework was never anyone's idea of a good time, and the thought of slogging through more equations was enough to make everyone's shoulders sag.

Taehyung leaned back in his chair, feeling the weight of the homework settle in his chest, but his mind still wandered back to Jungkook and the strange gifts. Something didn't sit right
