After a long day of classes filled with endless equations and numbers that seemed to blur together, Taehyung found himself walking down the now-quiet hallway toward his locker.

The usual hustle and bustle of students was gone, replaced by a calm silence that wrapped around the school like a soft blanket. Taehyung's footsteps echoed lightly against the tiled floor, a rhythm that felt oddly satisfying after the chaos of the day.

He reached his locker and unlocked the metal door, the familiar click of the latch signalling the start of something he had been half-expecting. As he swung the door open, there it was the same strawberry cake, sitting neatly on the bottom shelf.

He couldn't help but smile, already anticipating the note that would be tucked alongside it. It had become a weekly ritual, a strange, sweet puzzle that only seemed to grow more intriguing with each new delivery.

Reaching for the note, his fingers brushed the smooth paper, and a feeling of both amusement and curiosity settled in his chest. He unfolded it slowly, his eyes scanning the elegant, flowing handwriting. His lips curled into a smirk as he read the message aloud in his head:

"So it is really you, huh, bunny?"

Taehyung chuckled softly under his breath. The same bunny drawing at the bottom seemed to wink at him, a playful, almost mischievous touch that made the whole thing feel... personal. That familiar little bunny had appeared in every note so far, and now it seemed to be acknowledging something something he had only just figured out himself earlier that day.

His gaze lingered on the message for a moment longer before he slipped the note into his pocket, a smirk still tugging at his lips. His thoughts raced. So, Jungkook was behind it all. The realisation had been building ever since he picked up that book earlier, and now, with this message, it was all but confirmed.

Taehyung's heart gave a little thrill at the idea, the mystery feeling both exciting and flattering. Jungkook, the quiet, often unnoticed boy in class, was somehow sending him these little gifts, these strange, sweet notes that kept Taehyung on his toes.

He glanced around the corridor, scanning the mostly empty hall. It was too quiet now for there to be anyone lingering nearby no hidden figures, no signs of Jungkook waiting to see his reaction. But that only made Taehyung more determined. He had to confront him.

Soon.

Taehyung slid the note and the cake into his backpack, the latter's sweet aroma already tempting him. He couldn't help but chuckle again at the idea of Jungkook slipping this surprise into his locker, carefully leaving his little clues for him to find. It was both sweet and... a little thrilling.

As Taehyung closed his locker and stood up, he felt the weight of the note in his pocket, the little bunny drawing now a symbol of this strange, growing connection. He couldn't wait to see how this would play out. Whatever was happening, he was starting to enjoy the mystery more than he'd expected. But one thing was for sure: he wasn't going to let Jungkook get away with it for much longer.

With one final glance down the corridor, he walked away, the sound of his footsteps now a rhythmic beat in the silence, his thoughts already racing with plans. The game was on.
