As Hunter's eyes slowly struggled open, it didn't take too long for him to notice that something was very wrong.
And this was because, for some odd reason, he just couldn't handle the way the light around him entered his eyes.
It was almost as though they had kind of grown an intolerance for the ambient lighting of the outside world.
Even just slightly opening them sent a gushing wave of uncomfortability through his body.
A few minutes soon passed, and Hunter eventually built up the energy to fight the pain and wake up. But immediately after attempting to simply raise, he gave up, realizing that it somehow felt 10 times heavier than usual.
"Uhhh," he groaned, fighting the urge to keep lying in bed.
Hunter was now sure that something was going onto him, he'd never experienced something like this before.
His mind felt extremely blank, and everything that had happened to him the previous night felt quite blurry to him. It was almost as if something was blocking the memories and experiences that he had gone through.
After what seemed like 10 whole minutes, Hunter realized he felt slightly better, and decided to truly open his eyes.
As he opened them, the world around him gradually began to appear before his eyes.
But to his surprise, he wasn't lying down on his bed, surrounded by familiar walls.
Instead he found himself in a significantly large bedroom, surrounded by white walls, and an unusually high ceiling. The room had paintings placed in different places, and it wasn't hard to tell that the paintings were of a high price.
To his left was a large closet, with gold lining and antique wood, and to his right, was a desk with a ceramic surface, and a huge pile of papers.
The room had a soft carpet made of animal hide in between it, as well as a few plants placed here and there somewhat like decorations.
But it didn't stop there, a few steps from where he lay, he could see his clothes and those of somebody else's trailing towards him.
But just as he was attempting to make sense of things, a voice erupted from behind him, immediately startling him.
"You sleep well?" The voice asked.
Hunter instinctively sat up, and faced toward the direction the voice had come from. "Shit, you scared me," he replied, trying to slow down his breath.
Hunter could hardly remember what had happened the night before, but for some reason he had a reasonable recollection of the girl sitting in front of him.
She still looked as beautiful as she was when had met her, but unlike before she had a limited amount of clothes on her body, and her curly hair seemed to be quite ruffled up.
"I'm sorry," Hunter stated, noticing her body, and immediately turning away.
"It's ok," the girl replied, letting out a rather peculiar chuckle.
Hunter let out a long breath, and tried to put his mind back together.
"To be honest, I'm kind of confused," he continued, trying to explain his point of view. "Like...what actually happened last night?"
The girl turned around facing the wall, then she picked up a small blanket, and wrapped it around her body.
"Well clearly we had s—" Hunter's eyes widened, and he immediately interrupted her.
"You're kidding, right?" He exclaimed, digging his hand into his hair.
The girl looked at Hunter's clothes lined across the floor, then back at him, almost as if to clarify his disbelief.
