Happy Birthday my dear best friend. Not only are we celebrating your 14th birthday but also the day we met.
This year I wanted your present to be special, I wanted it to be something I know you'd love.
I wanted to seduce you into a magic world, inspired by your own words:

"In the silence of moonlight night Two hearts got connected. Their lips were not saying a word but their eyes spoke everything and there should intertwined with ease. Their smiles were shy yet some feelings grew. And they fall in love like morning dew"

I loved your poem so much and decided I want to dedicate you more to it. This whole story, yea everything you can see, is just for you. I hope you're ok with the fact, that I published it, so other people can read this masterpiece as well. Because I put all my effort into making it a special experience just as journey for you.

My English's not perfect like the one of a native speaker. I am not perfect either and I already know this story will contain so many grammar mistakes and other structure errors. I literally researched half of the words lol. Even right now.

Like as you may notice, I gave my best. So just ignore my bad English and be ready to be mesmerized by the world of circus carnival and all of it's myracles.

I intentionally wrote in English so you'd understand without always having the burden to translate. It's way easier like this for you and also a great improvement and study session for my English. I had much fun writing this book for you and I can assure you that volume two and three will come soon but I can't predict a date yet.

Coming to your question for what the emojies were for. Surprise! I lied to you about the drawing. I had to make it the less suspicious as possible but that was so hard.

I was so excited to tell you about this story that I couldn't sleep at night and that made me go insane.
But here it is, all tension blown away within a second. You'll find out during the chapters how I used the emojies and created a vivid scene with them. Oh and I even used your poem which I essayed above.

And won't we forget that it's enemies to lovers, your favorite.

Continuing I come to the main part. Dear readers, as I've already told you, the carnival trilogy is a book series dedicated to my best friend Roshni. And yes, to answer your questions. She is the girl from California Love/ California Dreams.

She supported me even in the darkest times and just deserves this gift. I know that in California Love/ California Dreams she already was a part of the story but this is more personal.
Like this story is really hers and I'm proud to say that she is my best friend. Like an angel directly sent from heaven to guide my way through life.

Anyway I wouldn't really say that I'm unholy but this story does resort to some things which may trigger. But I'll list up the trigger warning at the end of this page also because it contains spoilers for the whole book so be prepared. I warned you guys.

Attention! This story was inspired by books like Caraval, Legendary, Finale, Bury a Friend, Shatter me, Haunting Adeline, Four Houses of Oxford, Harry Potter, Powerless, Reckless, The night circus,...
So don't be rude if it may comprises similiar scenes. Especially Caraval by Stephanie Garber, was a huge foundation of this story.
I want to apologize in advance if this book may be smiliar but I gave all of it to provide it an unique touch.

Do you know the quote. "I'm scared to become a writer because I'm afraid that everything already has been written" "It may has but not by you"
This is what keeps me motivated and perhaps is an excuse for similitaries.

Ok this is getting too long for introductions but I have to make sure to say all the important stuff. Like I know some of you readers are germans just like me but I really desire if you'd give this book a chance anyway. And if I got any english readers that probably would be wonderful.
Let's hope alinax sees this book, she was one of the big idols for this story. But I'll thank her later again when I come to the thanksgiving or whatever it's called.

I've always had a preference for extra drama and well lets say darkromance and a bit of exaggeration. So if you're confident enough then be comfortable to read. This is literally like Haunting Adeline 2.0

The stage is set for Selena Heathermore and Trevor Machenin and their magical love story in circus carnival! Get your popcorn by hand and be ready to unfold this adventure with me. I hope you'll like the show and don't forget the applause! "And remeber, this is all just a game" (Caraval) ;)

German translation/ Deutsche Übersetzung:

Hey Leute und willkommen in Show of forgotten Carnival! Das ist die Geburtstagsgeschichte für meine beste Freundin Roshni. Falls ihr es im oben erwähnten Text noch nicht mitbekommen habt, ja, die Roshni aus California Love/ California Dreams. Sie ist nicht nur im Buch, sondern auch im echten Leben meine beste Freundin und hat dieses einzigartige und authentische Geschenk mehr als nur verdient!

Diese Geschichte ist in Englisch geschrieben, da falls ihr California Love gelesen habt und es schon wisst, sie aus Nepal kommt und absolut kein Deutsch kann. Ich wollte es einfacher für sie gestalten dieses Buch zu lesen und auch für meine eigenen Sprachkenntnisse ist es ziemlich hilfreich.

Falls ihr aber trotzdem Lust habt das Buch zu lesen, auch wenn es auf Englisch ist, dann nur zu. Alle wichtigen Punkte (Trigger Warnung) habe ich oben bekanntgegeben und sonst gibt es auch einfach nicht so viel zu sagen.

Dieses Buch basiert auf der Grundlage von Caraval, also ist eine Inspiration. Ich habe so gut wie es eben geht versucht, es abhebend davon zu gestalten aber manchmal ist das unmöglich. Ihr werdet wahrscheinlich ähnliche Szenen finden aber hoffe ihr versteht, dass man nicht immer alles anders machen kann. Trotzdem wünsche ich euch viel Spaß beim Lesen!♡
