Ryo Namikaze woke up early on his first day at U.A. High. The morning light filtered through the curtains, casting soft, golden hues across his room. He felt a mix of anticipation and excitement coursing through him as he got ready. His grandfather, already awake and bustling around the kitchen, greeted him with a wide grin, brimming with pride.

"Today's the day, Ryo," his grandfather said, setting a plate of breakfast on the table. "I've always known you were destined for greatness. You're going to be the best hero the world has ever seen."

Ryo smiled back, determination evident in his eyes. "I'll make you proud, Grandpa. I promise."

His grandfather ruffled his hair with affection before sending him on his way. As Ryo walked out of the house, now clad in the crisp new U.A. uniform, he felt a surge of energy. The possibilities of what lay ahead at the prestigious hero academy danced in his mind.

Arriving at U.A. High, Ryo was one of the first students to enter Class 1-A. The classroom was quiet, save for the gentle rustle of papers. Only a girl with long, sleek black hair was present, organizing her desk with meticulous care. Ryo approached with a friendly smile, extending a hand.

"Hey, looks like we're the early birds. I'm Ryo Namikaze," he introduced himself.

The girl looked up, returning his smile. "Hello, Ryo. I'm Momo Yaoyorozu. Nice to meet you. It's great to see someone else who's eager to start."

They exchanged stories, discovering that Momo's Quirk allowed her to create any non-living material from her body, while Ryo shared his abilities of teleportation, chakra manipulation, and a few other surprises. The classroom gradually filled with other students—Tenya Iida with his disciplined posture, Shoto Todoroki with his reserved demeanor, Ochaco Uraraka radiating warmth and cheer, and finally Katsuki Bakugo, whose intense aura filled the room with tension.

As Ryo chatted with Momo, his gaze shifted to a familiar face entering the room. It was Mina Ashido, the girl he had saved during the entrance exam. She looked around, searching for a place to sit, her expression a mixture of nerves and excitement. Ryo waved her over with a welcoming gesture.

"Hey! I'm Ryo... we've actually met before, I think," he said with a playful grin.

Mina's cheeks flushed slightly as she recognized him. "Oh, you're the one who saved me! I never got a chance to properly thank you."

"No thanks needed," Ryo replied, his grin widening. "Just doing what any hero would do."

Mina took the seat beside him, and they continued to chat, their conversation light and teasing. Ryo found her energy refreshing, and there was an instant camaraderie between them. As the classroom buzzed with the growing chatter of new students meeting for the first time, Ryo felt a surprising sense of comfort, an assurance that he belonged here.

Suddenly, a figure in a yellow sleeping bag shuffled to the front of the classroom. The room fell silent as everyone turned to face their homeroom teacher, Shota Aizawa, known as Eraser Head. Slowly, Aizawa emerged from the sleeping bag, his expression weary and uninterested.

"It took you all eight seconds to quiet down," Aizawa remarked in a dry tone, his voice carrying a hint of disdain. "Not very impressive. That's not how a rational hero should act."

The bluntness of his introduction left the class stunned. Aizawa wasted no time explaining that there would be no welcome ceremony or orientation. Instead, they would immediately begin with a Quirk Assessment Test.

"This is U.A. High," Aizawa continued. "But don't expect it to be like a regular school. This is my class, and we do things my way."

He instructed them to change into their gym uniforms and meet him outside. As they made their way to the field, the students murmured amongst themselves, trying to decipher the type of teacher Aizawa might be and what this test could entail.

Once outside, Aizawa stood before the class with a determined expression. He picked up a softball and tossed it to Ryo. "Ryo Namikaze," he called, "you got the highest score in the entrance exam. Let's see if you can back that up. Throw this ball using your Quirk, and give it everything you've got."

Ryo felt a surge of adrenaline as he stepped into the designated circle. He took a deep breath, channeling his energy. As he wound up, he allowed lightning to course through his body, enhancing his muscles and reflexes with his Thunder Step. The ball left his hand like a shot, trailing a brilliant arc of lightning as it soared into the sky.

Aizawa held up a device to measure the distance: 1,050 meters.

A collective gasp rippled through the class. Even Aizawa's typically stoic face seemed to show a hint of approval.

"Impressive," he commented. "But remember, power alone isn't everything. There are many aspects to being a hero."

Turning back to the class, Aizawa's expression hardened. "One more thing... the person who scores the lowest on this test will be expelled."

The announcement sent a wave of shock and anxiety through the students. Ryo glanced at Mina, noticing her anxious expression, and gave her a reassuring nod. "Don't worry," he whispered to her. "Just do your best."

The assessment began, with each student demonstrating their unique Quirks. Iida's speed left a gust of wind in his wake, Todoroki showcased his control over ice with a calm precision, and Uraraka lifted objects effortlessly with her Zero Gravity ability.

When it was Izuku Midoriya's turn, Ryo couldn't help but watch closely. Midoriya's face was tense with nerves, a stark contrast to the confidence Ryo had seen in him during their first encounter. Aizawa, sensing his hesitation, activated his Erasure Quirk to nullify Midoriya's powers.

"If your Quirk is useless without control," Aizawa warned, "you won't make it here."

Midoriya looked visibly disheartened, his shoulders slumping. But then, catching Ryo's eye, he saw the encouragement in his expression—a quiet, steady confidence that seemed to say, "You've got this."

Taking a deep breath, Midoriya focused all his power into a single finger and threw the ball with all his might. The ball soared high into the sky, landing with a distance of 705.3 meters. The class murmured in awe, and even Aizawa seemed somewhat impressed.

"You've got potential," Aizawa admitted, "but you're far from being in control."

Ryo approached Midoriya, clapping him on the shoulder. "That was incredible," he said with a grin. "Just keep working on it—you've got what it takes."

Midoriya beamed back, his confidence visibly bolstered. "Thanks, Ryo... I'll keep trying my best."

As Ryo looked around, he noticed the beginnings of bonds forming among the students, a sense of unity slowly taking shape. It felt like the start of something profound, something that could truly define the next chapter of his life.
