The shipwreck zone was filled with the sounds of crashing waves and the creaking of broken ships, the air thick with tension. Ryo's clone stood beside Midoriya, Tsuyu, and Mineta, their bodies weary but resolute as they caught their breath, trying to form a plan.
"We need to get help, fast," Midoriya urged, his eyes wide with urgency. "If we stick to the shoreline and head toward the exit, we can avoid the central plaza completely."
Ryo's clone nodded, his expression calm despite the gravity of their situation. "That's a good plan, but remember—I'm just a clone. The main me is currently at the central plaza. I've sent other clones to help the groups scattered around the facility."
Midoriya's eyes widened in surprise. "Clones with each group? How many of you are there?"
Ryo's clone offered a slight smile. "Enough to make sure everyone has a chance," he replied, his voice steady with confidence.
Tsuyu's face showed a spark of understanding, but she quickly returned to the matter at hand. "Midoriya's right," she said calmly. "We should avoid the villains Mr. Aizawa is fighting and take the shoreline."
Mineta, however, was nervously tugging at his hair, his voice trembling. "But... if Mr. Aizawa doesn't get any backup, he's going to push himself too far. What if he... what if he..."
Midoriya's determination only grew stronger at Mineta's words, his fists clenching tight. "He's doing this to protect us! We can't just leave him!"
Ryo's clone interjected, his tone firm yet empathetic. "Our priority is safety. We need to regroup with the main body. Trust Mr. Aizawa; he knows what he's doing."
A heavy silence fell over the group. The weight of the situation bore down on them as they realized the true danger wasn't just from the villains, but from the strain their teacher was enduring for their sake.
Meanwhile, in the landslide zone, Todoroki, Kaminari, Jiro, and Momo stood among ice-covered debris and the fallen villains subdued by Todoroki's icy onslaught. The air was frigid, each breath visible in the cold.
Todoroki crouched next to a frozen villain, his gaze sharp and unyielding. "If you stay frozen, your cells will die slowly. Frostbite, hypothermia... It's not a pretty way to go," he said, his voice intense, cutting through the silence like a knife.
The villain shivered, fear and pain etched on his face.
Todoroki's voice remained calm, almost emotionless. "We need answers... but we also need to move."
Jiro, sensing the escalating tension, tapped her earphone jacks together. "I hear more movement up ahead. We should keep going."
Ryo's clone, observing from beside Momo, spoke softly, "We shouldn't waste time. The others might need us."
They pressed on, navigating through the landslide area cautiously, ready for any more surprises.
Back on the main battlefield, Aizawa was still engaged in a relentless fight. His movements were swift and precise, but every action seemed more labored than the last. Sweat trickled down his face, and his breathing was ragged as he kept activating and deactivating his Quirk to nullify the villains' abilities.
His mind was racing. I have to keep going... I have to protect them... no matter what.
He landed a solid kick on one villain, then whipped his capture weapon around another, constricting it like a snake before throwing them to the ground. But as more villains closed in, he could feel his stamina draining, his body nearing its limit.
Suddenly, Shigaraki lunged at him with a manic grin. "Got you!"
Aizawa met Shigaraki's attack head-on, their fists colliding with a powerful impact that echoed throughout the U.S.J. Aizawa managed to land a sharp elbow strike to Shigaraki's sternum, but Shigaraki caught his arm, his fingers clawing into Aizawa's flesh.
