Chapter 64

Lizzy jerked her head up and met Alanna's gentle eyes.

Did Alanna kill those two assassins with her own hands? To avenge them?

She must know what happened that night, right? The woman must have told Alana what she had seen! What would she think? Yes...... Scared of yourself?

Alanna didn't speak, just looked at her peacefully.

When she first crossed over, her mind focused on improving her life and finding a job, and she didn't think about the problem of "falling off the horse". But after moving into Kappa Street, the daily plain and warm relationship gradually made this matter clearer.

She only has part of the memory of the original owner, and the way she walks, the way she speaks, and the taste of the dishes are all different from the original owner. It is impossible for two children with extraordinary talents to go unnoticed.

But neither she, nor Liz nor Theodore, chose to be open and honest. Perhaps, they are in a similar mood, and they all want to protect this hard-won warmth.

Liz wasn't human, which of course surprised her.

But kinship is sometimes not a "godsend", but a "choice". Along the way, she treats her two children as family, no longer just because they saved her life, or the surname Soss.

As for whether Liz would tell her the truth about her identity, Alana didn't care.

In my previous life, I always heard a sentence from other parents. When children are older, it is normal to have their own little secrets. As a parent, she should respect her child's privacy.

Of course, considering that the child's secret is a little dangerous, she will intervene if necessary.

"Thank you," Liz moved her lips slightly.

The aroma of cherry pie was still on the tip of the nose tonight, and the kiss from Alanna on her forehead seemed to be slightly hot. She didn't need to ask, because the answers were all in front of her.

"No thanks," Alanna's lips turned up, "Want to sleep?"

Liz nodded, "Good night."

Alanna got up and helped her fold the quilt, and when she was about to turn around, she suddenly thought of something, "I heard that the Chinese New Year's Eve has a custom of New Year's rituals, praying to the gods, and remembering the deceased.

"Tomorrow we're going to go to the bazaar and the Transcendent Shop, and you and Theodore can buy whatever you want."

Liz was stunned, her heart pounding.

Is this telling her and Theodore that if they want to pay tribute to the original Alanna sister, is it okay?

"Good night, Liz."

The room was plunged into darkness, but the warm light crackling in the brazier baked the room warm. Outside the window, there was fine snow drifting again, but the thick glass kept the howling cold wind out of it.

Liz once fantasized about this day.

Alanna looked at her with surprise and even horror when she found out. She no longer gives herself goodnight kisses, no longer softly calls her name, and even quietly leaves the house.

But now, that terrible nightmare has completely dissipated.

Perhaps, she should have seized this opportunity just now to ask the true origin of "Alana" and what her original name was.

But, please forgive her for her temporary evasion. No matter how good the original name is, it can't have anything to do with the Soth family. So, as long as she doesn't know the name, "Alana" has always been Alana.

—The eldest daughter of the Soth family, sister of Liz and Theodore.

In the living room, Bu Bai nested in the cat's nest by the fireplace and slept soundly, with a large tail showing out. Alana walked up to it and tucked her tail into a small blanket.

"Miss Alanna," Belinda had been waiting by the door, "Lord Erin is waiting for you in the spirit realm.

"Well," Alanna knew she was destined to go to bed early this night, after all, she still had a time bomb lying in the Frost Holy City, "let's go now."

Placing the "simplified" ritual materials in the room, Alanna opened the spiritual passage with ease, and this time still went directly to the temple garden of the Holy City.

After a month of recuperation, the temple garden "flourished" a lot. The plants and trees that were originally in a state of weathering and withering have lost a thin layer of shell, revealing their colorful original appearance.

The trees on either side were still bare, but the roots were no longer black and dead. Some unknown new sprout emerges from the ice, exuding a fresh aroma.

"Welcome back," Erin was eager to rush up to give Alanna a big hug, but considering her modesty as a teacher, she pressed the urge anyway.

"Hard work Teacher Erin." Alana bowed her head.

"I deserve this hard work, because it really didn't take much effort."

Erin initially thought that she would be summoned to the headquarters of the Prophecy God Cult and go on a killing spree in an undead state, but as a result, she was "picking up leaks" with a sword in the spirit world.

"But next time, can you let me swap Belinda?" Frost Dragon, what a wind!

"If you have the chance," Alana laughed.

"Don't look at her calm now," Erin glanced at Belinda, "and she was rolling on the ground with joy when she first got into the dragon's body.

If she hadn't seen it with her own eyes, she wouldn't have believed a frost dragon would smile narcissistically at a pool of water.

"Really?" Alana didn't expect Belinda, who has always been "mature and steady", to have such a boyish side.

Belinda was feverish, "I've never had that experience.

Erin pouted, "That's not all, she's an oracle now."
