── .✦ FIREWORKS were sent into the air as music played and people danced on the podium in front of the school in celebration. It was dark, and people sang loudly, so it was pretty hard for Freddie to concentrate on the strumming of his electric guitar, but he pushed through, and the music still sounded better than ever.
"Let's set it off! Oh, yeah." Evie sang in her beautiful voice and Freddie almost passed out from how angelic she sounded. He melted visibly, but continued to strumming his guitar perfectly, a huge grin plastered on his face, "Ohayohay, hey!"
"Kings and Queens, it's our time to rise. Write the book, the story of our lives." Ben sang as he was surrounded by dancing princes and princesses, even including Chad, "This is us, taking back the night."
"Ohayohay."
"Break the spell, we were born this way." Mal began to sing, skipping over to Ben and they danced together, hand in hand, "Be yourself, forget the DNA. Everybody raise your hands and say..."
"Ohayohay, hey!"
"Sound the alarm, get on your feet. Let's set it off, and rock this beat." Evie sang, throwing the skirt of her dress around as she smiled over at Freddie, winking at him not-so-subtly, "Dance till your heart is wild and free."
"Ooh, oh, oh."
"Feelin' the power, let it all out. Like what you see in the mirror, shout, we got the keys, the Kingdom's ours." She continued to sing, eyeing Freddie as she danced. Evie was impressed about how Freddie could stare at her whilst strumming his guitar perfectly, she almost drooled at the incredibly attractive sight.
"Ooh, oh, oh. Ohayohay, hey! Let's set it off! Oh, yeah. Start a chain reaction, never let it stop. Let's set it off, oh, yeah. You can make it happen with everything you got. Let's set it off. Get ready, set it off. (Come on). We 'bout to set it off. (On the right). Get ready, set it off. (To the left). Ohayohay, hey. We 'bout to set it off."
Freddie's ears popped as the singing got louder, but he just continued to strum the guitar, even in silence and soon, it was his time to shine, so he stood up from where he was sat on the steps to the podium and stood beside Evie, beginning his solo. They all danced as he played his guitar, and once he finished, Evie sang a high keynote before they ran around.
"Let's set it off. Oh, yeah. (Let's set this off). Start a chain reaction, never let it stop. Let's set it off. (Let's set this off). Oh, yeah. (Let's set this off). You can make it happen with everything you got. Let's set it off. Get ready, set it off. (Come on). We 'bout to set it off. (That's right). Get ready, set it off. (To the left). We 'bout to set it off. Get ready, set it off. We 'bout to set it off. (What)! Get ready, set it off. (Come on)."
"Three, two, one." Freddie counted down, strumming the strings of his guitar as the singing got silent and Mal and Ben ran away from the podium in different directions. Everyone danced around Freddie in his second guitar solo until Ben and Mal reached the balcony.
"Oh, yeah!" Mal sang, her hand in the air above her head.
"Let's set it off. Oh, yeah. Let's set this off. Start a chain reaction, never let it stop. Let's set it off. (Let's set this off). Oh, yeah. (Let's set this off). You can make it happen with everything you got. Let's it off. Get ready, set it off. (Come on). We 'bout to set it off. (And to the left). Get ready, set it off. (And to the right). We 'bout to set it off."
The singing ended with everyone bowing to Mal and Ben who kissed after looking up at the fireworks. Once they kissed, everyone cheered and began to dance and sing again, "Ohayohay, hey! Let's set it off. Oh, yeah. Start a chain reaction, never let it stop. Let's set it off."
