Chapter 5

The next morning I woke up and stared at the ceiling. 'What am I gonna do? I want to make Mike and Aisha trust me, but I don't know how.' I groan and rub my hand across my face. This is gonna be a long day. I get up and change into my leather jacket, ripped jeans, and white v neck t-shirt. I grab my combat boots and walk out looking around not knowing what to do. Mike walks out and sees me.
"Hey wanna go train for a bit" he asks me. I smile and nod.
"Sounds like a plan" I look and see he had his glasses this time, and follow him to the training room.
"How'd you sleep?" I ask Mike, trying to start a conversation. He shrugs his shoulders and sighs before responding.
"Still not used to living here, so it's harder for me to sleep." He admits looking down at his shoes.
"I completely understand bro. I'm the same way" I smile at him and put my hand softly on his left shoulder, "I'm always here if you need to talk." All of the sudden we hear Kyle over the radio.
"EMERGENCY MEETING IN BEN'S OFFICE. I REPEAT, EMERGENCY MEETING IN BEN'S OFFICE." Me and Mike look at each other confused with worry in our eyes before booking it out of the training room and up the staircase to Ben's room. Once we enter, all I see is red flashing lights and Ben furiously typing away at his computer with fear on his face.

"What the hell is going on!?" I hear Nillie ask from my left. Ben doesn't respond and keeps typing away, his face pale and eyes wide. We all look at each other with concern before Kyle finally walks in.
"The Government is close because someone tipped them off about our whereabouts. We need to be ready to attack at any moment. Go grab weapons and stay hidden. Take these" he hands us each a police grade wire and ear piece. "Keep in touch and if anything goes wrong communication will be your best bet." We all take one and attach it quickly. "Mike and Kalin go to the back entrance and keep guard. Nillie and Geo focus on the main entrance. Me and Ben will stay here and relay where they are at through the cameras outside. NOW GO GO GO!!!" We all run to the armory to grab weapons. I stay by Mike and grab his sniper rifle.
"Take your glasses off and use this. With your heat vision this is the best weapon you can use." He takes it and nods while taking his glasses off. He sets them on the shelf where the gun is and waits for me to grab my knives and katana.
"You ready for this" Mike asks looking scared. I gently smile at him and pat his back.
"Of course. I won't let anything happen to you. Just have my back and everything will be alright. "
Alright guys mic check who can hear me? We hear it come from our earpieces. One after another calls out .
It's Kalin I copy. I reply after everyone checked in.
Alright there are only 5 so far 2 in the back and 3 in front, be careful. We will keep them occupied and locked out as long as we can. Be ready.
The radio goes silent as we get to our positions and wait.
30 minutes go by and we hear an explosion as they blew the door up.
They're in light them up!
I cut my arm and use my blood to slash the first enemy's throat while Mike snipes the last one in the head.
Two in the back are down. Mike radios to Kyle.
Good shit guys. Nellie Geo status!?
Two dead, one more to go!
The radio went silent as me and Mike are looking at each other waiting for them to say the all clear.
The last one is.....
The radio started to static as me and Mike race over there to see what's wrong. We turn the corner and see Nillie lying there unconscious and Geo being choked by the agent. Mike gets behind a barrel and aims.
"I can't get a good shot" he whispers to me with fear in his voice.
"I got this." I whisper back. I enter the hallway and scream "HEY BITCH COME GET ME!" the agent looks over and drops Geo before lunging at me. I dodge and fall on the floor. Mike takes the shot and misses. The guy jumps on me and I flail to try and get away. That's when I notice he has a cut on his arm. I smirk at him and flow my blood into his body and erupt his heart. Blood pours out of his nose and eyes before he plops dead on top of me. I shove him off and run to Geo and Nillie.
"Are they ok!?" Mike asks, coming up behind me. I check Geo's pulse.
"Geo has a pulse go check on Nellie!" I say as he nods and checks on her. I pick Geo up and sling him over my shoulder.
"She's breathing," Mike says.
"Alright pick her up we need to get them to the infirmary " he nods and grabs her as we run to the medical room.
Nillie and Geo are hurt but alive. We brought them to the infirmary. I relay over the radio.
Copy that threat has been neutralized for now we need all hands on deck to repair and reinforce the damage done. Kyle responds to me as I put Geo on the gurney.
"Will they be alright?" Mike asks shakily. I look over and see tears threatening to fall from his eyes.
"Hey woah, yes of course they will. I dont think they were terribly injured so they should be fine." I say giving him a side hug. He softly smiles at me and nods.
"Where is your sister?" I ask him worry, filling my heart.
"I locked her in her room." We hear a voice say as we turn and see Kyle enter the infirmary. Mike sighs in relief as I nod to him.
"Thank you Kyle." Mike says, holding his hand out. Kyle smirks and clasps his hand into Mikes.
"Of course she's too young to fight right now." He laughs as he looks at Geo and Nillie. "They just need rest. They should be fine by tomorrow, come on. It's about time for dinner. Ben is cooking." Me and Mike look at each other with raised eyebrows. Ben can cook?

We all pile into the dining room where there is a huge Turkey and lots of different sides. I see Mike come in with his sister and she runs up to me.
"Hewwo Kalin!" She says smiling. I smile back and ruffle her hair. "You know I don't hate you wight?" I look at her shocked
"Of course I know that silly" I smile at her. She looks up at me and holds Patches out towards my face.
"Patches told me dat you think I hated yous" she said, batting her eyes at me. I just sigh and shake my head as I pick her up and plop her in a chair. She giggles and puts Patches on her lap. I sit beside her and wait till everyone is seated before I start to grab food. We laugh and talk for about an hour before people start leaving for bed.
