After the unexpected twist of having four stories tied for first place, another issue appeared in my head.
What would happen if Stitches came out with the same numbers?
This created a quandary, as neither I nor Hades would know how to determine who would come out on top, as I read all the other wonderful stories. I'm not buttering you up. They were all good.
The only thing that could be done—was done.
I put on my big girl pants, focused on the rubric, and read the gore, survival horror story.
It wasn't as bad as I thought it would be. It's surprising how the psyche can really pull a punch when you fear something.
But back to what happened...
I called Hades and questioned him on the originality of the plot, as this was the only thing I didn't know, as I don't do horror. Once I had that done, I typed up the rubrics, and I had my answers.
