The Awakening(Part B)
Guinevere didn't know what to do. Technically all fourth of them didn't too.
They made their way out of the city, moving swiftly through the winding alleyways to avoid detection. Her thoughts were consumed by the unfamiliar power surging within her. This wasn't something she could easily dismiss, nor could she continue pretending it wasn't there. She had to find a way to control it, before it controlled her.
The group finally reached a forested area on the outskirts of the city, where they found temporary shelter in an old abandoned barn. As Gusion and Kagura tended to Hayabusa's wounds, Guinevere slipped outside, needing a moment alone to gather her thoughts. The moonlight filtered through the trees when she looked up at the sky.
As the cool night air brushing against her skin. She tried to steady her breathing, but it felt like the weight of the world was pressing down on her chest. The power that had surged through her earlier was unlike anything she had ever felt before. It wasn't just her usual magic, it was something else.
Her thoughts drifted to the blast of energy she had unleashed in the alleyway. She hadn't meant to do it, but it had come from somewhere deep inside, almost as if the power had a will of its own. What if next time, she couldn't hold it back?
She closed her eyes, trying to push the fear away. She didn't tell anyone about it, but since the day Guinevere left the Baroque Castle, she had been having strange dreams about the Legacy of her Kingdom and they only made it worse. Dreams of a terrible deed, long forgotten, a power tied to her bloodline. She could never quite remember the details when she woke up, but the feeling of dread lingered long after.
The door to the barn creaked open behind her and Guinevere turned around sharply, only to see Gusion there.
"Guin, what are you doing out here? Daydreaming? "
She forced a smile, though it didn't reach her eyes. "Just needed some air."
"Okay... Want some company?"
Guinevere shook her head. "It's alright. Let's go back."
"If you're sure."

The next day, as the group resumed their journey, Kagura brought up the topic.
"There's a place," she said quietly .
"Another old castle, deep in the southern part of the Moniyan Empire. It's hidden, almost forgotten, but some say it holds secrets about the ancient families of the empire—families with magic in their bloodline. Maybe... maybe that's connected to what you're experiencing, Guin."
Guinevere looked up, startled. "A forgotten castle? I think it was something I read in the Castle's library! "
Kagura nodded. "I don't know much about it, but there's been talk that it was once home to a royal family that had ties to powerful magic. The Shadow and Scarlet Sect had been discussing about it long ago. If we go there, we might find some answers."
"Shadow and Scarlet Sect?" repeated Gusion looking confused.
"It's for ninjas, but you don't have to know the full details," Kagura interrupted.
Hayabusa frowned, glancing at Gusion. "It's a long way from here, and we don't know if the castle is even still standing. Are you sure it's worth the risk?"
Gusion's jaw tightened. "If it's connected to Guinevere's power, then we have to try. We can't just keep running without knowing what we're dealing with."
