Laser Tag

Prompt (found from Pinterest): "take me laser tagging and then push me into a corner and kiss me. then shoot me and walk away."

Warnings: some strong language (briefly)

Y/N's POV
We were on the way to a glow in the dark laser tag. By we I mean the friend group:

Me, Kayla, Elizabeth, Ryan, Francis, and James.

We were heading to the place, Ryan's mom driving us. With seating arrangements of:
Ryan & his mom in the front seats
Elizabeth and Kayla in the middle
Francis, Me and James in the back.

I had a feeling this was on purpose, as Elizabeth and Kayla know about my slight crush on James.

We aren't officially a couple, though people often thought otherwise.

So what if we kissed, cuddled, went to dinners, had movie nights, went to dances together, and met each others families? That was normal friend stuff...

Right?

Anyways, the car ride was good. Francis had his earbuds in, looking out the window, while me and James talked about random stuff.

He rested his hand on my knee as we talked, I didn't notice at first as it was normal.

Eventually, our conversation died down, I looked forward but feeling his eyes on me I looked back at him.

Our eyes locked, he then looked at my lips then back up at my eyes.

He moved his left hand off my knee, placing his right hand in the spot, as we both shifted to look more at each other.

He gently placed his left hand on my face, as my left hand went around his neck.

We leaned closer, our lips almost touching, as my right hand went to his chest.

Our lips almost connected when...

"Yo lovebirds were here, save it for the bedroom!" Ryan yelled from the front.

We broke apart, undoing our seatbelts before getting out.

We walked into the place, me and James holding hands. Getting to the front counter, Ryan's mom checked us in and eventually a worker came out and brought us back to a room.

Ryan's mom chose to wait in the car.

We got the rules and eventually broke off into teams, which was girls vs. boys.

Girls were red and boys blue.

We put on the laser tag stuff before eventually getting to the room where the game would be played. We had an hour for the game.

The lights shut off, the only stuff still glowing being the glow paint on the objects in the room - and the targets on our chests.

We went to hide, forming a plan to try to win.

We had 3 lives so hopefully helping better our chances.

Within the first 45 minutes we had managed to:
Get Ryan down to one life
Have Kayla with two lives
Francis with two lives
Elizabeth with one life
James with two
And Me with one life

With 5 minutes left in the game Kayla had one life left, same with me but Elizabeth was out.

I heard Kayla yell, so she was out. Our victory rested on my shoulders.

I hid behind a wall, in a dark back corner hopefully away from the guys.

Feeling safe, I rest the gun in my pocket. One a few minutes left in the game.

I heard a noise from my right, turning to see nothing there. As I go back to my spot, I feel a hand turn me around and slam me into the wall behind me.

Lips slam onto mine, shocked I open my eyes, seeing James I close my eyes and kiss back.

The kiss deepened as James wraps his arms around my thighs, jumping, I wrap my legs around his waist.

We kiss until running out of oxygen, breaking apart then but resting our foreheads together.

"Be mine?" He asks quietly.

"Of course" I respond.

We kiss again, as he lets go of my legs, and I stand up.

It was a quick kiss, after breaking apart we again rested our foreheads together.

"I'm sorry for this" he says.

"What?" I ask.

But as I do so, he grabs his gun and shoots me. My last life being gone.

"Hey!" I yell, as he runs away laughing.

The time ends, meaning we lost the game.

But despite the lost, at least I still won something.

A/N: Sorry for the bad writing, I haven't written in a while. There should be more oneshots in the coming days :)
