Connor sat on the deck, waiting for the arrival of Malcolm and Lucy, one of the Connors half sisters. He didn't notice when Travis walked up behind him.

Travis : "Con.. It's been a year.. Even.. even if they do come back, I don't think Malcolm still wants you.."

Connor stared at the water. He said nothing in response, and Travis decided to give him space and leave again.

Connor sat there every day until finally he saw the boat in the distance, He stood up, Nurvuse an exited, He ran up the hill notifying everyone that Malcolm and Lucy had returned.

As all the kids stacked up in the deck and the boat came closer, he could see Malcolm and Lucy embracing each other in a loving hug.

Connors heart dropped when he was them walk down the ramp holding hands and smileing.

Connor left the deck holding back tears and ran up to the tree house the Hermes cabin built. and hid in a corner. under a blanket.

??? : "Connor?"

??? : "Hello? You here?"

Connor : "Go away!"

The voice was light and soft. the fot steps came closer, and he lifted his head to see Mary - one of the aphrodite kids - She smiled at him softly before sitting down next to him.

Mary : "Hay con.. why are you crying?"

Connor : "Beacuse the person I like.. likes someone else.."

Mary put a hand on his sholder and gave him a conferting hug.

Mary : "Oh, I'm so sorry, Connor..  I know how that feels.. The guy I liked has been stuck on someone for a while. always waiting on them. "

Connor : " beacuse one would think they would wait back.."

Mary : "But thay don't.. "

Mary let go of Connor, and they stared at each other for a moment.

Mary : "Connor.. I.. Um.. I know we don't talk a lot but I like you.."

Connor : "Marry.. I.. I don't like you back.."

Mary : "... I know.. But give me a chance and you could learn too.."

Connor sighed and agreed, and thay hung out every day after that, Malcolm and Lucy slowly drifted apart now that they were back at camp half blood and have their own lives, and hobbies, thay just didn't connect the same as thay use to.

A few weeks go by, and Connor and Mary are sitting by the beach at sunset.

Connor : "Mary?"

Mary : "Yes, con?"

Connor : "Do you want to be my girlfriend? I mean, I know people are already thinking we're dateing. Let's just make it official. plus I do really like you"

Mary smiled brightly and attacked Connor in a hug.

Mary : "YES!!"

thay laughed, and Mary leaned in for a kiss, but Connor stopped her.

Connor : "Sorry Mary, I.. I'm not ready for that"

Mary : "That's okay! I'm so happy we're finally official! I love you, Connor."

Connor sighed. befor answering.

Connor : "I'm not ready to say that yet.."

Mary : "Oh.. Okay.."

They kept watching the sunset before going back to their own cabins for bedtime.

The next day, everything started normal, Connor hugged out with Mary a bit, and people congratulated them on their relationship. Around lunch, everyone was on their way to the dining area. as Connor walked by a cabin, he got snatched by the arm and pulled behind a tree. he gave a small shreck.

Malcolm : "Shh Connor!"

He whispered and let go of Connor.

Connor : "Oh. Hi Malcolm."

Malcolm: "So.. You and Mary now?"

Connor : "Yeah.."

He looked away from Malcolm. Emberessed. They stood there for a bit, silantly. before Malcolm  spoke.

Malcolm : "Connor lisen, I love you. Im in love with you, and I know that it's probably too late now, but I just needed you to know."

Connor looked at Malcolm and shocked his head.

Connor : "I love you too, Malcolm... but im whit Mary.. You are too late.."

Malcolm felt his heart drop, as realization hit him in the chest.

Malcolm : "Can I..?"

he asked, stepping forward and putting his hand under Connors cheek, lifting it up closer towards his own face.

Connor blushed before letting out a confirmation.

Malcolm and Connor kissed on the lips quickly, but Connor wasn't done, He put his hands around Malcolm's neck, pulling him closer for more.

after thay were done making out Connor, who pulld himself off Malcolm.

Connor : "I.. I can't..  I can't do this, I'm sorry!"

Connor turned around and ran off, leaving Malcolm behind.

He reunited with Mary, who asked him where he was

Connor : "Oh no where, don't worry Mary!"

Mary : "Alright!"
