Shanaya's POV

I came home and sat on the sofa sighing. But suddenly I feel some hands on my head and flinch but instantly got relaxed after hearing dad's voice

"Relax shanu, it's me" Dad said while massaging my head. I nodded

Mom comes and gives us water. He sat on the sofa and I kept my head on his lap. I saw mom giving signals to dad through her eyes and dad nodded.

I raised my eyebrows to dad and asked  "What it is mom dad?"  And looked towards my mom also.

She smiles nervously and said "Rajjj!!"

"Yes yes I'm here."  Dad said and     'cleared his throat'

"I can feel now that something big is going to happen today. " I thought

"Shanu you know that we'll never think something which is wrong for you" He said in softest voice. I nodded

"Then listen to me carefully and don't interrupt in the middle. okay?" He asked and I again nodded

" When you and shivansh went from office. Vijay comes to me for a marriage proposal of yours and shivansh. See beta although I have no problem in this as I know that Shivansh is really a good man for you. Although he seems rude and arrogant but trust me beta i knew him since he was little. He respects everyone and his priorities and Vijay's family is very good. I know you will get lots of love there. But we are not pressuring you or saying that you'll have to marry to him. I want you to know that this is only yours right whether you want this or not. If you have any boyfriend or you like someone then you can tell us beta. But if you don't have any. Then just think about this proposal. At the end your decision will be our decision beta." Dad said nervously yet calmy.

And all the while I just kept my neutral face and didn't know how to react.

I looked towards mom as if asking about this and she smiled Assuringly. I thought for a while and said-

"I know dad you guys will never think anything wrong for me. I have no problem with this dad if you think Shivansh is the one for me that it is like this only. And I neither have any boyfriend nor I like someone. Actually I always want you guys to choose someone for me. And if you choose shivansh and vijay's uncle family. Then Yes I'm okay with this." I said smiling

I can see that mom and dad have tears in their eyes. Mom hugs me and said "don't you worry shanu. I know radhika and meera, they will keep you like their own daughter only."

"Okay mom now stop crying you both. It's not like I'm going to get married right now." I said while laughing and trying to lighten the atmosphere.
