Shanaya's POV
We both are sitting now. I'm continuously looking at my hands while fidgeting my fingers. I'm literally feeling very nervous now, I want to ask some questions but don't know how to start.
Suddenly 'Umm-hmm' he cleared his throat to gain attention and I looked at him.
"You can ask anything if you want" He said calmly as if he is reading my mind.
"I'm not reading your mind. It's just that your thoughts are too loud" He said again and my jaw dropped and eyes got widened. He chuckled seeing me and she quickly composed myself.
"So, are you forced into this marriage?" She asked him
"No, I'm forced into this. It's my decision only to come here." He said calmly
"Why did you choose me?" She again asked feeling insecure of herself.
He frowned and asked her "Why?? Can't I choose YOU??" Stressing on you and thought - "I know that she'll ask this type of question to me"
" No, it's just you can get any girl you want. A model or what!! Then why did you choose me as your life partner. You are really a big businessman I know that you have some expectations from your wife. What If I can't fulfill them?? See I'm not perfect and sometimes I lack confidence and I feel insecure about myself. I think you really need that type of person who is confident and smart. " She said looking into his eyes and murmured last line quietly.
He thought - "But I didn't know that she felt sooo insecure of herself that she starts doubting on herself. But don't worry baby I'm always with you now and I'm ready to hunt that person who made you think like that but first I've to clear your all insecurities."
His eyes softened after listening to her.
For the first time she can see emotions in his eyes, Care? Adoration? don't know. But he's not the same Shivansh whom she met yesterday.
"I don't know where you read this that I liked model types of girls or what!!.. I don't like materialistic things Shanaya.
I don't know what made you insecure of yourself and think that you are not smart.
