INT. - HEAVEN - EXORCIST OFFICE

First panel:

LUTE
(sitting at a desk, being sad over Adam's halo.)

MYSTERIOUS FIGURE
(off panel)

"Moping doesn't become you, Lute."

LUTE
(standing immediately)

"Sir! I didn't know you were back. What can I do for you?"

Second panel:

MYSTERIOUS FIGURE

"I need you to put together a team of your best exorcists. They should be brutal, efficient,
and most of all discreet. This mission is off-the-books and need-to-know only. Understand?"

Third panel:

LUTE

"Of course, Sir! I can put Leftie on it, she's my right hand man. What's the mission?"

Fourth panel:

MYSTERIOUS FIGURE

"There's a rogue soul in Hell. I want you to find it. And destroy it."

EXT. - PENTAGON CITY, ALLEYWAY/ORKAS' OFFICE

First panel:

CLAIRE

(walks down an alleyway towards a door that's partially ajar.)

Second panel:

CLAIRE
(poking her head in and sees a mess)

"...yikes, what happened here?"

Third panel:

ASSISTANT

"Someone trashed the place. Looking for money or drugs--I dunno. They
must've gotten mad when they didn't find anything. What do you want?"

Fourth panel:

CLAIRE

"I'm investigating Orkas' death. Mind if I ask you a few questions?"

ASSISTANT

"You're trying to solve a murder in Hell? Lady, I don't have time for that level of crazy."

INT. - ORKAS' OFFICE

First panel:

CLAIRE

"I'll make it quick, I promise. I heard that Orkas worked
with new sinners--what exactly was the deal there?"

Second panel:

ASSISTANT

"Orkas'd offer to protect them in exchange for their souls. Ingenious business
model, really. He'd get to those suckers before they knew what was what."

Third panel:

CLAIRE

"Do you think one of them might've come after him once they realized what was going on?"

Fourth panel:

ASSISTANT
(digging through stuff)

"You'd have to ask them--Orkas kept a list of the people he had on retainer.
I haven't been able to find the original in this mess, but I kept a copy just in case."
