"Do you have to go." I sighed as I lay on his chest his fingers stroking through my hair.
"Yes I am afraid so, believe me I do not want to, but the rules of the hotel are we must leave by 6am, and it's that now." I rolled from him sighing as it hurt to think of being here all alone once more.
"Hold on a second I will just get changed. You will be needing this." I pointed to the shirt as he grinned.
"Keep it, it suits you better than myself." He pulled on his suit jacket and buttoned it up still exposing the majority of his torso.
"You can't go out looking like that, what will people say." I covered my mouth laughing as he glided on top of me.
"I don't care what they will say, besides I have speed I will be home before you even have chance to miss me." He kissed my lips as the taste of him lingered onto my tongue.
"I hope I will see you again soon Mr. Gray, thank you for a nice evening."
"The pleasure was all mine. Please look after yourself Eleanor." I nodded as he walked toward the door. "Until next time." He bowed his head and in the blink of an eye he was gone.
The vast room was lonely as I lay upon the bed contemplating what tonight may hold. Who was it I would be entertaining and would I make it to the morning alive? Being here I couldn't help but fear for my life there was nothing else for me to do. Startled by the knock on the door, I jumped to my feet. Maybe Lorna had forgotten her key, or Louis was coming to remind me of what a rubbish vampire entertainer I truly was, even though I seemed to have done a good job last night with Mr. William Gray.
The door knocked again as I opened it ajar and peeped through the crack.
"Henry, what are you doing here, if they see you, all hell will break loose." I pulled the door open, tugging him inside as he pressed the door shut. "Are you alright?" His eyes searched the room as they finally halted on me, he traced every inch of my body, scanning my attire.
"I came to make sure he did not hurt you, but I can see the evening went sufficiently." His lips curled slightly over his teeth as I hid behind my falling hair, enveloping my body in my arms. "He didn't even taste you did he, well, not in the way a vampire usually would." His eyes looked to the corners as his tone was flippant.
"Nothing happened we just spent the night talking."
"Talking, and what exactly was you both talking about." He wandered to the bed, running his hand along the satin sheets. "If all you did was talk, then why do you have his shirt on."
"I was uncomfortable in the dress, I had nothing to put on but lingerie that I may as well not even of had on. Will was kind to offer me his shirt."
"Oh, it's Will now is it, what happened to only calling clients by their surnames." He shook his head in disgust as jealousy reared its ugly head. "And to think I have spent all night with that girl fighting back her every advance because all I could do was think about you. It took every inch of me to not break this door down and rip his head from his shoulders, knowing he was in here with you alone killed me.....again."
"Henry, this is my job, I have no choice but to entertain vampires, what is it you would have me do instead."
"I'd have you with me, I'd take you away from all of this, but I can't even do that can I." His voice bellowed as his fist beat against the wall, causing a crack to appear as I gasped aloud. "Look I'm sorry, I just don't know what to do." His speed stood him beside me in a second as he ran his fingers down my cheek. "You are in my thoughts every waking second, being apart from you is killing me, wait where is it?" His eyes hovered to my chest as I grasped the space where the necklace once was.
