"Beep, beep." With the sounds of my alarm clock echoing around me, my eyes slowly opened. "Ugh, my head still hurts." I whispered, while rubbing the back of my head. Last night's dream was not much of an enjoyable one, not as much as I thought it would have been. Probably the worst dream I had in a long time. "Seriously, if she wants, she could have just talked to me in-person, not like she cannot do any of those."

I looked around my new room, trying to spot any suspicious details. The room itself is small, around six or seven square meters, while the light is relatively bright, bright enough to make my head clear. The walls are painted in complete white – no stains or any colors other than white can be spotted. Various images were hung on the wall, some are just typical environmental drawings like a night in a mountain or something similar to that. A relatively large desk and a movable chair can be seen on the left of my bed, with a table lamp, some papers and a pen placed on the desk. Two plots of plants can be spotted by the entrance of the room, probably a method of keeping one's mind calm while working in such a suffocated room. In summary, yea, just a typical Junior Researcher's room at the SCP Foundation.

I took my identification card and my phone alongside me. Now that I think about it, the card is similar to the card of the deceased Alpha-4, but the security level is different: his was level 1, mine is level 2. I swiped the card on the lock of my door, with a beep sound, my containment chamber had been opened.

"Really, you were already here." I said, looking at the tall woman standing next to my door. "If I am not here to welcome you, what kind of irresponsible Senior will I be?" The figure spoke, looking straight into my eyes. Of course, it was Renko. Excuse me, I cannot call her like that anymore, as she is officially now my superior, the renowned Level-3 Senior Researcher Usami. She smiled, and began walking to the office area of the facility. "Change your clothes, by the way. You need your lab coat until level-4."

...

When I reached Renko's office, she was already waiting there with someone. However, they were in the middle of a debate. Renko was sitting on her office chair, like she always does. However, on one of the sofas in her room, there sat another person. Someone extremely familiar to me.

"Renko, I told you, I am a human being! Not a Youkai or anything! You have known me for years, do you believe that I'm a Youkai or any sorts?"

"With the ability you possess from Yukari, you ARE seen by the foundation as an anomaly, hence classified as an entity under the title of SCP-[Redacted]-02. Unless the site manager or anyone with similar power agrees with you, that cannot and will probably never change."

"Good morning, ladies." I knocked on the door, ending the debate. "So, Miss Maribel, how have you been?"

Maribel Hearn, the once best friend of Renko and the one who left her alone for years, someone strongly tied with Yukari Yakumo, came to the foundation to help humanity in defending the potential threat from Gensokyo. Of course, she still wears her white mob cap, but unlike before, where a red ribbon was tied on her accessory, that ribbon has been removed. The last time I saw her in the Dream World, she still had that recognizable part of her mob cap. It was probably removed to differentiate herself from Yukari. She no longer dresses in her purple dress, instead, it was replaced with a typical orange D-Class clothing.

The two ladies looked at me. Renko ignored me, probably due to her disappointment; Maribel, on the other hand, stood up from the sofa, took my left arm, and dragged me towards Renko. "Here, Renko, they can prove that I am a real human being! I rescued him from Gensokyo, and you were there! If I was Yukari, I would just leave him in Gensokyo forever! Does that not prove my humanity?"

"Yes, it proves your humanity, but it erases your record as a Genokyo resident and a... A relative to Yukari." Renko shook her head, stating the unfortunate truth of the girl who just returned from Gensokyo. Maribel looked down, her exciting expression was completely gone, leaving a face of depression.
