It had been a year since Jaxson and Yukari had left the orphanage. Shortly after they left Peter did too. About a year ago, Peter had gone to the nearest bridge to go across the giant cliff, but it was broken. So he eventually found another way around. Later, he would find himself in the empty streets of an abandoned town.

(Peter): H-hello?

He called out for anyone, but no one called back. He continued to walk. Then, he'd bump into a man dressed in a white suit and a fedora. Peter, intimidated, asks...

(Peter): Who are you? What are you doing in this ghost town?

(Peter): Who are you? What are you doing in this ghost town?

(???): Names are just labels, kid. My name is Wilson. I can tell just by the look on your face that you need a place to stay. Is that right?

(Peter): Yes...

(Wilson): Good, I can offer you shelter, but with an act of selflessness comes a price to pay.

(Peter): I don't have-

(Wilson): You don't need money. Just come with me.

So Peter follows Wilson into a seemingly abandoned facility.

(Wilson): Stay here, I need to introduce you to my boss.

Wilson walks in a door and closes it. Peter tries to listen in on what's going on in there. Then he starts to hear shouting. Then it goes silent, he backs away from the door. The door opens with Wilson and a tall, pale, slim man with him. His eyes are pitch black with ink dripping down them and he was wearing a black cloak.

Peter tries to keep a straight face but is very frightened by the sight of him. Then he speaks

(???): My name is Barton. I was told that you needed a place to stay. That can happen, and I can give you anything you want, at the cost that you work for me.

(Peter): I'll do anything.

(Barton): Perfect. What do you long for?

(Peter): Revenge. I want revenge on those who mistreated me.

Barton chuckles.

(Barton): You will get what you desire in time. But first you will need to prove yourself. You made the right choice staying here.
