Dream me was walking through the trails like I was yesterday... wait I'm reliving what happened yesterday. You may be asking how do you know that well it's because I hear the same footsteps behind me "Alex" I call 'wait Alex why am I looking for him' I think as I keep walking with the footsteps following me "Alex is that you" I ask stopping and looking behind me, I just hear the footsteps continue "Alex" I call again I see Alex run past the trees. He runs out of the tree line with his gun pointing at me and no (Y/n)  "Alex don't please" I say backing up and I see him squeeze the trigger but not pulling it all the way. I run from him but he shoots me in the leg and then in the back, I fall and roll over to look at him as he walks to me. He looks down at me no emotion in his brown eyes, he bring his gun up and BA-

I sit up quickly gasping for air, I look at (Y/n) and she's still sleeping. I sit there for a minute breathing heavily not noticing (Y/n) woke up "you okay Jaybird" she asks "no I just had a nightmare" I say in a shaky voice as I shake my head with tears in my eyes "it's okay" she says wrapping her arms around me and laying down. We lay there for a few seconds "Tim said you used to sing for him can you sing me a song" I ask looking at her, she looks at me and wipes the few tears that rolled down the side of my face "um yeah sure" she smiles thinking for a second before starting. 

Darlin I'd wait for you, even if you didn't ask me to, tie a lasso around the moon and bring it on down to you. 

I'd bottle the feeling you give me and shelve that stuff for years to come, cause baby when your arms are around me, I'd swear that I'm holding the Sun
