Chapter 010:Rescue

The Saint Proli Star Zone is tens of millions of light-years away from its home planet Earth. Although it is not the farthest star zone, it is considered quite remote on the human cosmic map. There are three Earth-like planets in this star zone where humans reside. Like many other colonized planets, the mineral resources on these planets are being frantically exploited by humans. The administrative capital of the star zone, Felton City, is located on a planet called Marsa. Although it is not very prosperous, it is the wealthiest city in the star zone.

In the center of Felton City, a 280-story skyscraper hotel stands proudly. In the presidential luxury suite on the top floor, a middle-aged man in a classical robe, with slightly graying temples and a slender figure, stands solemnly by the floor-to-ceiling window, gazing out at the scenery.

"Master, they have been sent away!" At some point, an old man with white hair and beard, stooped and somewhat shabby, silently floated into the suite like a ghost. He walked up behind the middle-aged man, hands hanging down, and said softly.

"Oh?" The middle-aged man seemed lost in thought and was awakened by the old man's voice. He quickly came to his senses, frowned, and asked, "Was anyone discovered following them?""No, Master!" The old man bowed slightly and replied respectfully, "I personally escorted them onto the interstellar ship, and the journey was smooth without any suspicious individuals. The guards responsible for covert protection also reported that they found nothing unusual."

Hearing the old man's response, the middle-aged man breathed a slight sigh of relief, nodded in satisfaction, then slowly walked to the luxurious leather sofa in the living room, picked up the teacup that had already cooled, took a sip, and looked up to ask the old man who had followed him, "Ah Fu, what do you think of the intelligence from the New Miami Star Zone? Should we ally with them?"

"Master, I have no opinions. I follow your orders!" The old man replied humbly with a smile."Alright! Then tell me, how sincere do you think they are?" The middle-aged man, accustomed to the old man's humility, changed his tone and asked.

"Master, in terms of sincerity, I think they are at least ninety percent sincere!" The old man answered with his seemingly cloudy but worldly-wise eyes, "Judging from their tone and attitude, ninety percent sincerity is my most conservative estimate!"

"Mm!" The middle-aged man nodded thoughtfully, put down the teacup, stood up, and instructed, "Ah Fu, go to Tickler and invite the Second Master! Also, call back several elders to the ancestral home, and tell them I have important matters to discuss with them!""Yes, Master!" The old man bowed and agreed, about to leave, but was called back by the middle-aged man.

"Ah Fu, have you found Miss yet?" The middle-aged man's eyes flashed with urgency as he asked.

"Sorry, Master, not yet!" The old man bowed his head and answered somewhat fearfully, "But our spies reported that Miss Irene went to the Eder Star in the Pool Star Zone!"

"What are those spies doing!" The middle-aged man scolded angrily, frowning, "Useless! Tell them, if they don't find Miss in three days, they should disappear into space themselves!"

"Yes, Master!" The old man hastily agreed upon seeing the middle-aged man's anger and then slowly exited the room.

In the city of Sadra on the Eder Star, human nightlife continues until one or two in the morning amidst bright lights and clinking glasses, after which the noisy city gradually returns to tranquility. Except for street lights, occasionally lit high-rise lights, and a few neon lights in front of bars, there are almost no pedestrians or vehicles on the streets.

"Again forcing me to get married! Again forcing me to get married!" Under the dim streetlight, a girl in a pink short skirt, about seventeen or eighteen years old, pouted angrily, kicking scattered stones by the roadside with her little foot, repeating the same sentence. She seemed to have run away from home due to family conflicts.
