"Private Hao Yi, get off that bed immediately!" Stryker, his face bruised and swollen, jumped from the corner of the room, holding a deformed water basin, and furiously yelled at Hao Yi, who was still lying in bed.

Outside the barracks, it was already daylight. The somewhat chaotic footsteps of the recruits during their drills intermittently drifted in. However, inside the barracks, it was a mess. The bed next to Hao Yi's seemed to have been knocked askew by something heavy, with bedding scattered all over the floor. Hao Yi's bed was soaked, and apart from the snoring Hu Er Pang who was still sound asleep on another bed, the other recruits were nowhere to be seen.

"Sergeant?" Hao Yi looked at Stryker, who was five or six meters away, in shock, his mind a whirlwind of confusion, not knowing what had happened.

"Get down here right now, do you hear me?" The furious Stryker, limping, waved the deformed water basin as he walked over and dragged the dazed Hao Yi off the bed, throwing him to the ground harshly. He then kicked the snoring Hu Er Pang off his bed and shouted, "Two hundred push-ups! Finish them in ten minutes!"

"Huh?" Hao Yi, lying on the ground, exclaimed, "Sergeant, really?"

"Bang!" Without another word, Stryker kicked Hao Yi again and cursed, "Damn it, isn't two hundred enough? Do you want me to increase it?"

"What? I'll do it, I'll do it!" Without understanding what had happened, Hao Yi knew he had somehow angered this "demon" sergeant again and quickly began doing push-ups on the ground.

"Sergeant?" Hu Er Pang, bleary-eyed, looked at Stryker in confusion.

"You too, two hundred! Start now!" Stryker also kicked Hu Er Pang and ordered, "Do them and count yourself!"

"Alright, alright, one, two, three..." The simple-minded Hu Er Pang quickly got down and started doing push-ups.

"You two idiots, can't even wake up to the bugle call? I'll make sure you never sleep again!" The bruised and swollen Stryker waved the broken water basin, cursing as he supervised the two doing push-ups, "And you, Hao Yi, dare to splash water and fight back! Hey, you've got guts. Make it three hundred push-ups!" The more Stryker thought about it, the angrier he got, and he increased Hao Yi's punishment.

"Sergeant, I swear, I didn't dare hit you!" As Stryker cursed, Hao Yi began to understand that it was because he and Hu Er Pang hadn't woken up on time and had overslept. In his sleep, he had unintentionally used his superpowers to protect himself, throwing Stryker into the corner."Still talking back? Four hundred!" Stryker pointed the broken water basin at Hao Yi's nose."I'll do it, I'll do it!" Fearing that Stryker would increase the punishment again, Hao Yi quickly resumed doing push-ups, cursing inwardly, "Damn demon sergeant, why didn't I beat you half to death?"

After doing two to three hundred push-ups, by lunchtime, Hao Yi and Hu Er Pang's arms were so sore they couldn't even hold their food. Hu Er Pang, teary-eyed, complained to Hao Yi, "Hao, I think we should go back. This life is unbearable!"

"Er Pang, don't cry! When I become a general, I'll make that bastard pay!" Hao Yi comforted Hu Er Pang while secretly plotting revenge against Stryker. Growing up, Hao Yi had always been the prankster, never treated so harshly twice.

In the days that followed, Hao Yi began a battle of wits and courage with the "demon sergeant" Stryker. He would steal and drink Stryker's liquor, then pee in the bottle, or secretly plaster intimate photos of Stryker and his girlfriend all over the barracks. Once, Hao Yi even used his superpowers to make Stryker walk into the women's shower, getting beaten bloody by the female soldiers.

Although Stryker couldn't catch Hao Yi and Hu Er Pang red-handed, he had a vague suspicion that they were behind it. So, Stryker constantly found excuses to punish them. He'd make them run cross-country with heavy loads while he chased them in his Hellfire vehicle, leaving them battered and bruised. During close combat training, he made them wear old armor and use broken weapons to spar with other recruits, letting the others beat them. Confinement, push-ups, cleaning toilets-punishments came one after another, and Hao Yi's screams often echoed across the camp.

After two to three months, the once chubby Hu Er Pang had slimmed down, and Hao Yi wasn't much better off. The infirmary became their frequent haunt. Despite this, Hao Yi never stopped plotting revenge against Stryker. Finally, during a firearms training session, Hao Yi found his chance.

That day, Stryker led Hao Yi and the recruits in a shooting practice with the C17 electromagnetic nail gun. The C17 was the standard rifle of the Federal Army, firing 7.92mm armor-piercing nails to penetrate armored enemies and equipped with 20mm high-energy grenades.

While laser weapons were widely used in the military, individual laser rifles had significant drawbacks. Although they had enough penetration to pierce multiple layers of armor, they lacked lethality. This was similar to Japan's Type 38 rifle-if the laser rifle didn't hit a vital spot, it would leave only a small hole, and the burning effect made it difficult for the enemy to bleed out. The C17's armor-piercing nails not only matched the laser rifle's penetration but also exploded violently after penetration, tearing apart heavily armored enemies and being highly lethal. Using specific types of ammunition like depleted uranium armor-piercing rounds, soldiers' rifles could even threaten large tanks, mechs, and aircraft.

"Rookies, you should be familiar with your rifles by now. Today is live-fire practice. Remember, electromagnetic rifles have a high firing rate-don't hold down the trigger continuously. If anyone empties a whole magazine at once, I'll kick their ass!" At the mountain shooting range, Stryker, with a cigar in his mouth, threatened the recruits. He then fired a burst from his rifle, sending dust flying.

After speaking, Stryker, wearing light protective armor, swaggered towards the targets, giving a final warning, "I'll be watching near the targets. If anyone fails to destroy their target with 20 rounds and two grenades, they'll run five kilometers of mountain roads!"

A few minutes later, with Stryker's command coming through the earpiece, the recruits began firing at the steel targets. But at firing position 2, Hao Yi remained motionless.

"Hao, why aren't you shooting? If you don't start soon, that demon will give you more trouble!" Hu Er Pang at position 3 reminded him.

"Er Pang, do you want to beat that demon?" A cunning glint flashed in Hao Yi's eyes as he asked Hu Er Pang.

"Of course, I dream of it!" Hu Er Pang replied, firing a few shots, then suddenly realizing something and exclaiming, "Hao, you don't mean... This is live ammunition, it could kill someone!"

"Hey, I don't want to be shot dead by the military police before I become a general!" Hao Yi laughed, pointing to Stryker, who was less than twenty meters from target 1, observing with binoculars, "Look, he's so close to the target. When we launch the grenades, if one accidentally... Of course, I'll make sure not to hit directly, but..." A sinister smile appeared on Hao Yi's face."Hao, you mean?" Knowing Hao Yi's superpowers, Hu Er Pang began to understand.

Hao Yi and Hu Liangtao, what are you two standing there for? Want to run a five-kilometer cross-country? Get your butts to the shooting range immediately!" Just as Hao Yi and Hu Liangtao were whispering, Stryker's furious roar suddenly came through the headset.

"Start with rifle shooting!" Hao Yi glanced at Stryker in the distance, who was jumping and cursing, instinctively shrinking his head, and said to the chubby Hu. After speaking, Hao Yi started shooting while secretly glancing at Yang Jianyi lying at target position No. 1, laughing to himself, "Hey, pretty boy, just wait to take the blame for me!"

Just then, a strong wind suddenly swept through the shooting range on the mountain, kicking up dust and even blowing some of the rookies' rifle bullets off course."Damn, even God is helping me. Let's see what you do now!" Watching the dust kicked up by the mountain wind blowing towards Stryker's position, Hao Yi's eyes lit up, and he excitedly muttered to himself.
