The atmosphere got heavy everyone staring and waiting for a response and I decided
It was time to come clean
I took a deep breath and just let go “I'm a Creator”
The silence was loud
Nightmare slowly set me down either out of shock or maybe he cared even after the reveal
Error broke the silence “explain”
And so I did I told them everything how I was a dumb kid that made aus to cope i grew out of making them but then I died and ended up here
I could tell shade was the most upset his voice teetered on the edge of tears “so…you made…everything that happened?”
It hurt me to hear him so broken because of what I did what I made him do “I'm sorry shade I-” he quickly cut me off “everything was by your design?”
I just looked down I knew I deserved whatever came to me but no harsh words were thrown not even a punch or anything I looked up slowly to see shade
Crying
“Do you even truly see me as a friend? Or am I still just a…creation?” The question broke me
I quickly got up “shade I would never see you as anything less than a friend a son even you have never been just a creation you've always been my pride and joy”
I could see the apprehension in his face like he didn't believe a word I said anymore “shade I- I'm sorry I know that won't change anything but I-”
Once again he cut me off “I just- I need time” and he ran off to his room quickly followed by fell, reaper, error and nightmare
I left as well quietly walking outside surprisingly followed by classic and plum
I sat silently on the steps and they sat at my sides classic being the first to speak “so…how much do you know”
I sighed and curled in on myself “most things almost everything” a soft hand was placed on my shoulder when I looked it was plum “no one blames you for your origins we're just…surprised is all…why didn't you tell us?...tell him?”
I slightly uncurled myself my voice shaking as I recall why “I-...I was scared…terrified that everything would change that you all would hate me that id….die again”
Soft tears started to fall before I could stop them “I'm so sorry I didn't mean to hurt anyone I didn't want to hurt anyone I was young and dumb but it doesn't help the fact I hurt him…I made horrible things all because i could”
Plum gently rubs my arm “well…he turned out fine..and so did the tune one you made” I sighed “tune comes from an underground where sound didn't exist and his frisk is an idol that uses music to either fight or pacify enemies which in turn brings music and sound to the underground”
Plums hand stopped as I explained tunes world “wow you were…a brutal kid”
I softly wiped my tears “I was horrible back then I hurt people simply for entertainment it's not…redeemable…I'm a monster and not even a good one like you guys or grillby”
This time sans took my hand gently holding it in his “we all do things we aren't proud of it's what we do to make up for it that shows if your truly a monster now…do you plan on being truthful from now on?”
I nodded softly all lying has down is give me guilt and hurt my friends classic nods “then there it is your already taking the first step now…you just need forgiveness”
I looked down while classic and plum headed back in to give me space to breath
Then he came out
