Author's pov-
Your least favorite months were slowly creeping up on you. Everything about the heat irked your soul. You preferred wearing sweaters and spending your days wrapped in cozy blankets diving into a new book or sketching more designs for your fairly full fashion notebook. Spring meant the flowers were growing back soon to blossom into the beautiful creations they are. Even though the heat bothered you, the plants coming back to life after being dead for months felt oddly familiar and comforting.
This morning you woke up from your deep sleep to the smell of your favorite breakfast (f/b). After adjusting to the sun shining into your room you got up and walked to your bathroom staring at your tired reflection in the mirror for a few minutes before getting ready for the day.
Y/N's pov-
"Good morning Fuyumi" I stated in my raspy morning voice
"Ah, good morning y/n how did you sleep?" Fuyumi replied while setting the breakfast table. "Fine nothing crazy, Do you need a hand?"
"Sure you can grab the juice out of the fridge and set it in the middle of the table for me!" My older sister said with a wide smile on her face. I made my way to our double door fridge grabbing (favorite flavor) juice from the fridge bringing it back to the table wear Fuyumi was adjusting the silver wear for the family of 5. I heard a set of heavy footsteps creaking down the wooden stairs, I turned my head to see my twin brother Shoto Todoroki rubbing his eyes with his messy red and white hair messy but somehow still in that odd straight line you've always been curious as to why it never seemed to cross.
"Good morning Sho" I said with a smile. He replied with his normal monotone expression "Morning y/n/n, What's for breakfast?" "(Favorite breakfast)!" Fuyumi said in her cheerful tone.
Suddenly the door opened with a loud "SLAM!"
I turned my head quickly to investigate who walked in with such attitude. No surprise it was Endeavour. Your least favorite part of the mornings were when he would show up annoyed after doing late night patrols. Fuyumi decided to be the first to speak up to the angry man in the doorway taking off his shoes.
"Good morning father, how was you patrols?" "Fine Fuyumi." He replied with an annoyed and tired expression. Already irritated I turned away to start helping Fuyumi with serving breakfast for the family.
"Is Natsuo going to join us?" Sho asked Fuyumi after looking at the extra plate and silver wear. "I hope so, I wanted us to have a family day together." She replied with a bright smile on her face.
I always envied her optimistic attitude. She never seemed to crack no matter how much she suffered, she never stopped caring or stepping up to the plate. She truly was the best older sister you could've asked for. I slightly smiled at her idea until a voice rang throughout the open concept room.
"I'm unavailable today. I have paperwork I need to complete and then I am going to rest until Shoto's training session for today." Enji replied walking towards the stairs. "Are you not going to eat breakfast with us?" Fuyumi questioned the tall man. "No, I already ate and would rather get this work done and over with." "Oh." She said in a saddened tone but didn't let her optimistic attitude falter in front of her younger siblings. "That's okay there will be some left for you if you get hungry later." She said as the man didn't even giver her another glance before heading up stairs and shutting the big door to his office.
