Y/n's pov-

By the time I woke up the next morning Katsuki was gone. I felt bad for asking him to stay in here, I made a note as I got up to get ready to apologize when I saw him next. The morning was pretty slow until we were called into a meeting with Best Jeanist.

"Let's take a moment to talk about the incident last night in Hosu, the hero killer stain was arrested. There were also incidents with villains who resembled Nomu from the UA attack. You're likely worried how this all stitched together, well I too am concerned. People tend to come apart in times like this, but that is why we hero's must remain calm despite our fears. Don't let chaos tempt you into thoughtless overreaction, remember we are here to protect others not seek out vengeance. It will be business as usual today, Todoroki, Bakugo you both are going to be going on Patrol with me first. May your minds and body's be as sharp as your jeans."

"THANK YOU BEST JEANIST" All us interns except for Katsuki of course. He was shaking in anger because his hair was slicked down again today. Every time I looked at him I would giggle and he would blow a fuse saying I was 'looking down on him'.

Best Jeanist gave me a choice between a Jean Jacket or skinny jeans, considering skinny jeans are the ugliest form of jeans I went with the jacket.

(sorry if you're a skinny jean girl but I am NOT)

For a few hours me, Katsuki and the other interns were lectured on various topics like how to handle interviews, fans, and publicity in general.

Now we were out patrolling Tokyo wearing our upgraded costumes with slicked hair.

"It's possible some villains were inspired by what happened in Hosu, that means they could be feeling bolder. This may just be a patrol but keep your guard's up." Jeanist stated walking ahead of me and Katsuki.

"Yeah yeah" Katsuki muttered next to me.

"Here's a question for you both, patrols are mainly meant to stop villains from committing any crimes but they also have a secondary purpose, What is it?" The pro asked to which Bakugo smirked.

"If we see some bad guys we can beat them up on the spot!" He stated proudly, I laughed when Jeanist said 'Incorrect.'

"Todoroki you wanna try and give me a better answer?" He asked to which Katsuki huffed and crossed his arms.

"Uh-publicity?" I said but it came out as more of a question.

A group of teenage girls squealed when they recognized Jeanist who flipped his hair.

"Close, the answer is to remind people who we are. Our presence gives them a peace of mind. This helps establish trust between the protectors and the protected."

"I think you just like getting recognized." Katsuki admitted scowling.

"Not necessarily, If citizens see a pro on the street they know that there is someone close by who could help in the case something happens then in return they would feel safe." He just clicked his tongue and gave me more attitude.

"Hey I've seen that blonde guy on tv before!" Some little voice called from behind us. "Yeah a villain caught him and he almost cried like a baby!" I whipped my head around in fear for the kid's .

Katsuki turned around extremely pissed off to the point his hair spiked back up and I cackled.

"WHAT THE HELL DID YOU SAY?!" He yelled in the kid's faces to which they immediately cried.

"Have you really forgotten everything I've taught you? Talk to them like a pro." Best Jeanist demanded.

"Yeah fine." He walked over and put his hands on his hips leaning down. "Listen up! I wasn't helpless, I was coming up with ways to fight him. Sometimes a hero has to pretend he's been caught. What you really think I would lose? You'll eat those words when I'm the new number 1 hero! YOU DUMB KIDS WILL NEVER LAUGH AT ME AGAIN IF YOU KNOW WHAT'S GOOD FOR YOU!!" He shouted at the kids in their faces.
