Preparing for the USJ Attack

If you'd told me a week ago that I'd be sitting in a villain bar, plotting an attack on the place I've called home, I would've laughed in your face. But here I am, Usagi—villain extraordinaire, apparently—sipping on some questionable drink ,....well I insisted on one since I do need something and tea was a safe option to get me not to go crazy about right now.... while Dabi and Toga go on about the USJ incident. Great.

Dabi: So, the plan's pretty simple. Warp in, cause chaos, and take down a few heroes. Boss—uh, you—always liked to leave Aizawa for last. Something about the challenge.

Oh, right. Shigaraki's obsession with Aizawa.

Honestly, it's weird hearing these guys talk about the attack like it's no big deal. In my world, it was a disaster. Heroes almost died. Students were traumatized. And now I'm the one supposed to lead this madness?

Dabi's eyes flicker to me as if expecting some grand masterplan. But let's be real—I'm winging it. The good thing? I already know what's going to happen. The bad thing? I have to play along and pretend I'm as bloodthirsty as Shigaraki.

Me: Right. I remember. But we need to make sure we don't waste time on small fries. The real target is All Might, isn't it?

Dabi gives me a slow nod, like I've just said the most genius thing ever. Cool, I guess that's what Shigaraki would've said.

Dabi: Exactly. Kurogiri's going to handle the warp. We just need to get the Nomu in position, distract the students, and focus on the main target. No slip-ups.

Me: No slip-ups.

Meanwhile, Toga is twirling a knife in her hand, grinning like this is the most fun she's ever had.

Toga: It's going to be so much fun, Usagi! All those students running around, screaming... maybe we can play with a few of them before All Might shows up?

Yikes.

Keep smiling.

Keep the villain act up.

Me: We'll see. Don't get too ahead of yourself.

The USJ attack, from what I remember, goes wrong because the League underestimates the students. They were counting on overwhelming the heroes with numbers, but my classmates... well, they're a lot tougher than that. I need to tweak things, make sure I don't put anyone in danger—while still acting like the villain everyone expects me to be.

And that means I need to study Shigaraki's methods. I know enough from my own encounters with him, but being in his shoes? I need to think like him, act like him. Not too hard, right?

Twice: Hey, boss! Just making sure everything's ready. The warp's good, Nomu's ready to punch through walls, and I've counted... let's see, two, no, wait, seven... no, TWO more details I need to check. Yeah!

Me: Right. Good. Make sure you do... that.

Twice is... something. He's harmless enough if you ignore the fact that he can split into multiple versions of himself and cause absolute chaos. His back-and-forth self-talk is almost charming—if you forget the fact that we're planning a massive attack.

Twice: You got it, boss! I won't mess it up. Or maybe I will. No, I won't!

He's definitely going to mess something up.

Dabi slides over to the bar counter, lighting another cigarette, while I sit back and let the weight of the situation sink in. I'm supposed to lead this. I need to think of a way to manage these guys without actually hurting anyone. I've already been through the USJ attack, so I know where things went wrong. But I have to be smart about this.

Me: Twice, keep me updated on the details. I don't want anything left to chance.

Twice: You got it, Usagi! I'll keep everything perfect or ruin everything!

Dabi: Don't worry too much, boss. It's all going to plan. We've done this before.

That's the problem.

I know how this goes, and it doesn't end well for the League.

I can't let anyone die. Not my friends, not the heroes, not even these villains. But I also can't blow my cover. I need to play the part perfectly, and that means staying one step ahead of everyone.

Me: Alright. Let's review the plan one more time.

Dabi and Toga exchange glances, but they don't question me. After all, I'm their leader—the feared Usagi. Even if I have no idea what I'm doing half the time.

Dabi pulls out a rough map of the USJ, sliding it across the bar top. I've seen it before, but not like this. The villains have their own strategies, their own zones of attack. This is where I need to focus.

Me: We'll split the groups into smaller teams. Toga, you'll handle the central zone with Twice. Keep the students on the run, but don't get too caught up in one place.

Toga: Awww, you're no fun, Usagi! But okay, whatever you say!

Me: Dabi, you'll handle the entrances. Make sure no one escapes, but don't waste too much time on Aizawa. We can deal with him later.

Dabi raises an eyebrow but nods.

Dabi: Fine by me. I'll make sure the exits are covered.

I glance over the map again, piecing together a plan in my head. Keep everyone busy, but make sure no one gets seriously hurt. Distract them long enough for the heroes to show up, and then make an escape. Simple enough, right?

The hard part is selling it to the League. They need to believe that I'm fully committed to this attack, even if I'm secretly sabotaging it from the inside.

Me: We're going to hit them hard and fast. No mistakes. If we keep them on the defensive, they won't have time to react. And remember—our target is All Might. Don't get distracted.

Toga's practically bouncing in her seat, and Dabi's nodding along, looking more convinced by the second.

Me: We leave nothing to chance. Understood?

Toga: Got it! I'll make sure they scream extra loud!

Great.

Just what I wanted to hear.....

Mind the sarcasm....

I glance at Dabi, who gives me a curt nod.

Dabi: We'll be ready. You don't need to worry.

Me: Good. Because if anything goes wrong, it'll be on your heads.

I'm surprised at how natural the words sound coming out of my mouth. Maybe I'm getting too good at this villain act. Dabi and Toga exchange glances again, and for a moment, I think I see something close to fear in their eyes.

Did I just scare Dabi?

Okay, maybe I'm not as bad at this as I thought.

With the plan laid out, I stand up from the bar and give them both one last look.

Me: Let's make this quick. We don't want any surprises.

Toga grins, and Dabi just smirks as he takes another drag from his cigarette.

I nod at them to signal that we were about to go and turn toward the door, my mind racing. I've got the plan. I've got the League convinced. Now all I have to do is pull it off—without actually letting anyone get hurt.
