Launching the USJ Attack

Kurogiri opens the warp gate, and like clockwork, villains start pouring into the USJ facility. It's weird. In my timeline, I was on the receiving end of this attack. Now, I'm the one directing it. I see everything happening in real-time, almost like a replay of my nightmares. But this time? I have to act like I'm in control.

Me: Stick to the plan. Don't waste time.

I glance at Dabi, who's already making his way toward the designated entry points, blue flames flickering in the dim light. Toga's darting off to the central zone, where the students are about to arrive. I'm doing my best to keep a calm, commanding presence, but inside? My heart's racing. This is happening too fast.

Kurogiri hovers behind me, his usual eerie calmness as unsettling as ever.

Kurogiri: The students will arrive soon. Shall we begin?

Me: Of course. Let's not disappoint our guests.

Kurogiri nods and disperses into his black mist, leaving me standing there, pretending to be unbothered. On the inside, I'm running a thousand scenarios. How do I keep the students safe without blowing my cover? How do I lead this attack without actually letting anyone get seriously hurt?

The warp gate widens, and the students step into view.

My classmates. The same people I've fought beside, trained with, bled for... and now I'm supposed to hurt them? Not happening. But I need to stay one step ahead. This is the tricky part—I can't let them figure out what I'm really doing.

Me: Here we go.

The students arrive in groups, eyes wide, already on high alert. I see them spread out, just like I remember. Iida's with his usual squad, and Uraraka's already scanning the area, her face twisted with concern. Bakugo is... well, Bakugo, all fury and sparks.

I turn my attention to Aizawa, who's at the front, ready to take on the villains. He's still the calm, calculated pro hero I remember. He's already activated his quirk, locking onto the first wave of villains. Good. I knew he'd go for them first.

But I can't let him handle this the same way he did before.

Me: Kurogiri, send some reinforcements to the front. We need to keep Aizawa busy.

Kurogiri reappears by my side, giving a low nod.

Korigiri: Understood.

Within moments, another wave of villains pours into the area where Aizawa is fighting. His capture weapon whips out, taking down the first couple of them, but I know it's just a matter of time before the numbers overwhelm him. He'll be okay. He's tough.

Me: Focus on All Might. Don't get distracted by the others.

Dabi's flames light up the scene as he intercepts a group of students trying to escape. I keep my eyes on him, making sure he doesn't go too far. I can't let anyone get seriously injured, but I can't stop them either. That's the fine line I'm walking here—acting like a villain while still protecting everyone.

And then, I see him.

Bakugo.

My childhood friend, my rival, and the one person who might see through this act if I'm not careful. He's already blasted his way through a couple of low-level villains, his eyes searching for a bigger challenge.

Me: Great, just what I needed. Kacchan.

He locks eyes with me, a sneer curling on his lips.

Bakugo: You think you can take me, freak?

I can already see him preparing another explosion, his palms sparking with anticipation. He has no idea it's me behind the villain mask. And that's the way it needs to stay. But Kacchan... he's not going to make this easy.

Me: I don't have time for you, Kacchan. Get out of the way.

I channel my best Shigaraki impression, keeping my voice cold, distant. It's weird acting this way, but I know it'll buy me time. Kacchan isn't the type to think things through—he'll charge headfirst without a second thought.

Bakugo: You're dead!

He launches himself at me, just like I knew he would. I sidestep at the last second, barely avoiding the blast. My heart's pounding, but I can't let it show. I need to stay in character.

Me: Waste of time.

I flick my hand toward Dabi, signaling him to create a distraction. Flames burst from the side, causing Bakugo to skid to a stop. He turns his glare toward Dabi, momentarily forgetting about me. Perfect.

Me: Kurogiri, keep him occupied. We need to move on.

Kurogiri nods again, creating a warp gate to split up the battlefield. I watch as Bakugo disappears into the mist, transported to another part of the USJ. I'll deal with him later. For now, I need to keep the focus on the bigger picture—stopping the Nomu from going berserk and preventing All Might from getting too injured.

Speaking of the Nomu...

It's lurking in the shadows, waiting for the signal. Just like in my timeline, the Nomu is meant to be the game-changer—the one creature that could actually take down All Might. But I'm not letting that happen. I need to find a way to take control of the situation without tipping anyone off.

I turn to Dabi and Toga, who've regrouped near the center.

Me: Stick to the plan. Keep the students busy, but don't overdo it.

Toga: Aww, you're no fun, Usagi! But okay!

Dabi just gives me a knowing look, his hands already flickering with flames. I'm keeping them in check for now, but I know it won't last forever. The attack's only just begun, and I need to stay ahead of everyone.

And then I hear it.

A familiar voice—deep, booming, full of determination.

All Might: Fear not! I am here!

Here we go. All Might's arrived, just like I knew he would. This is where the real battle begins. But this time, I'm not the hero watching from the sidelines.

I'm the villain leading the charge.

Let's see if I can pull this off.

With All Might's entrance, the entire atmosphere shifts. The heroes start rallying, the students find new resolve, and everything starts falling into place.

But I'm not the same Izuku Midoriya they know.

I'm Usagi now.

And this fight?

It's only getting started.
