Jane follows the group down the corridor holding onto a rag hanging from Daryl's pocket and the man occassionally looked over his shoulder to see Jane looking around at the long monochrome hallways "Most of the facility is powered down including housing, so you'll have to make do here... The couches are comfortable, but there are cots in storage if you like... There's a rec room down the hall that you kids might enjoy. Just don't plug in the video games, okay? Or anything that draws power. The same applies... If you shower, go easy on the hot water." Dr. Jenner explains and everyone seems to freeze in place as Jenner says that and the doctor just smirks and leaves them to it. "Hot water?" Glenn says and T-Dog smiles "That's what the man said." He says and everyone has smiles covering their faces.

Everyone was extremely happy after hearing that and was quick to split off in small groups to choose somewhere to sleep for the night and Jane just followed after her mother as she walked into a room with Daryl, they saw two couches in the room which would fine for the three of them because Jane would just curl up with her mother. "Okay little missy, you definitely need a shower." Candice says looking down at Jane who huffs "But Mommmmyyy." She whines and Daryl chuckles "Listen ta ya ma, ya get any more dirt on ya an' you'll smell as bad as a walker." Daryl teases her and Jane looks offended "Fine!" She stomps her foot and opens her bag looking for clean clothes and Daryl and Candice laugh because her little 'Fine' had a slight twang to it that she could only learn from hanging around the Dixon's.

The three of them headed down to the changing rooms where the shower stalls were and Candice let Jane shower first, helping her get washed properly before sending the little girl back to their room so she could get showered. She was sitting waiting for her mother to return when Daryl walks in with a towel around his shoulders and his usual jeans on "Hey squirt." He says to her and she smiles over at him "Hi." She says and when Daryl puts his towel down so he can put on a shirt she notices all the little red lines on his back "Mister. Daryl?" She says and he turns to face her after putting a shirt on "What up kid?" He asks her and she tilts her head to the side "do the little lines on your back hurt? Because I have Hello Kitty band aids that Glenn gave me..." She says and watches as Daryl seems to freeze up.

"N-No... No they don' hurt... when I was abou' your age they did, but now there jus little lines left behind." He explains to her as best he can and she just nods her head and looks down at Sheriff who she had left here whilst she went to go and shower. "How long do you think we're going to stay here?" Jane asks him and he shrugs his shoulder "Don' know... as long as we can 'suppose." He says and Jane nods her head and begins to sort through her things as Daryl sits on the couch lying back across it putting a hand behind his head leaning on it. They stayed that way until Candice came back in wearing shorts and a tank top, she smiles over at the two of them and Daryl looked up briefly for a minute before lying back down again "Come here baby, let me braid your hair." Candice says and Jane zips up her bag and walks over to be in front of her mother.

After she gets her hair braided she wanders along to the REC room allowing her mother to get the sofa ready for them to sleep, she finds a book to read and moves over to the other side of the room to sit so it was quieter, it was only Carl, Sophia and Carol in the room but she wanted it to be as quiet as possible for her and so she tunes out the others and begins to read her book, she hears the door open and close again so she looks up to see Lori walk in and head over to Carol who is beside the book shelves "Any good books?" Lori asks and Carol nods her head "Uh-huh. Enough to keep us busy for years. All right. Come on, you two, it's bedtime." Carol says looking down at Carl and Sophia, she looks over at Jane but didn't feel like it was her place to say anything.

"Baby, go say your prayers. I'm gonna browse a bit." Lori says looking at Carl then looking at the book shelf, Jane sighs knowing she won't get any peace to read, she sees that she only has two pages left so she decides that she'll finish this part and then go find her mother "Come on. This is the first night we might actually get some real sleep." Carol says and Lori hums as the three others and Jane finishes her pages and turns off the lamp behind her practically leaving her in the dark as she goes to get up she hears a voice and decides not to move just yet "It's a miracle, isn't it?" Jane hears her father and so she peaks around the table in front of her to see him leaning against the door frame before he walks in closing the door completely.
