Jane had to cover her eyes as the bright white light hurt her to look at it and she felt someone gently push her back to get her to walk and so she blinks a few times before seeing it was Daryl who gently nudged her forward to keep walking "Daryl, you cover the back." She heard her father say and then she heard Daryl sigh before she got lifted off of the ground and she opened her eyes properly to see Daryl looking down at her " S'okay I got ya." He says to her and so she hides her face in his neck "Hello?... Hello?" Rick calls out as the others keep watching the doors for walkers "Hello?" Rick calls out again and they all hear a gun cock whilst Jane hears whispers again and turns to see a many with a shiny blonde woman just behind him both of them in lab coats "Anybody infected?" The man asks as the woman gives Jane a small wave making her smile "One of our group was... He didn't make it." Rick says and Jane frowns remembering Jim.

"Why are you here? What do you want?" The Doctor asks them and Rick steps forward "A chance." He says and the man scoffs "That's asking an awful lot these days." The man says and Rick nods "I know." He says and the man thinks for a moment "You all submit to a blood test. That's the price of admission." The man says and Jane's eyes widen "We can do that." Rick says and Jane gives him a glare, she hates getting blood taken, ever since she was younger she had a fear of needles "You got stuff to bring in, you do it now. Once this door closes, it stays closed." The man says and the blonde woman walks over to Jane "Hi I'm Dr. Candice Jenner, that guy there is my husband Edwin." She says and Jane smiles "I'm Jane and this is Mister. Daryl." Jane says and Daryl looks down at her confused until he realises what she's doing.

The others go and get their things before coming back into the CDC and Dr. Jenner closes the doors "Vi, seal the main entrance. kill the power up here." There is a few sounds after the Doctor speaks and Jane assumes it's the door locking and they all get into an elevator "Rick Grimes." Her uncle introduces himself "he's Dr. Edwin Jenner." Jane says as she plays with the top of Daryl's shirt holding Sheriff under her arm "How do you know that?" Jenner asks her confused and Jane points to just behind him "Candice told me." She says with a shrug and Jenners eyes widen but Shane gives her a look "Jane, not now." He says and Jane sighs and leans into Daryl "Doctors always go aroun packin heat like that?" Daryl asks changing the subject "There were plenty left lying around. I familiarized myself." He says and then looks at the group "But you look harmless enough... Except you... I'll have to keep my eye on you." He says pointing at Jane, he says it as a joke but Daryl and Candice her mother could hear the other tone in his voice.

"Are we underground?" Carol asks with her arms around Sophia "Are you claustrophobic?" Jenner asks and she shrugs "A little." She says and Jenner gives her a look "Try not to think about it... Vi, bring up the lights in the big room." He says walking out the lift and into a main room filled with computers "Welcome to zone 5." Jenner tells them and Jane looks around the room from her place in Daryl's arms "Where is everybody? The other doctors, the staff?" Dale asks and Jane looks over at him and Irma "I'm it." Jenner says then puts his arms out "It's just me here." He says and Lori looks up "What about the person you were speaking with... Vi?" She asks and Jenner sighs "Vi, say hello to our guests. Tell them... Welcome." Jenner says before a robotic voice begins to speak "Hello, guests. Welcome." It says and Jenner looks down "I'm all that's left." He says and Jane sees how upset he looks and looks over at Candice who looks upset as well "I'm sorry." Jane says and Jenner gives her a funny look making Daryl hold her tighter.

He leads them all to a room to draw their blood and Daryl has to put Jane down to get his taken and Jane watches how he does it bravely and so when she goes next she copies exactly how Daryl sat down and she puts her arm down on the table the same way "you need to take your jumper off sweetie." Jenner says and Jane blushes embarrassed that she didn't think of that and she takes it off before copying Daryl again and Candice and Dale are standing beside each other trying not to laugh whilst Daryl just stands with a smile on his face "I can see the family resemblance." Jenner says looking between Jane and Daryl which pisses Shane off but makes Daryl smile more "he ain't her dad." Shane says and Jenner just nods "Sorry." He says taking the last amount of blood he needs from Jane "it's okay Dr. Jenner, Mister. Daryl is my practice daddy. He needs to practice before he can be a daddy and before he gets together with my..." Jane gets cut off as Daryl covers her mouth "ain't you a chatter box." He says and Jane gives him a look.
