As the dust settled from the chaos of the wedding, you stood frozen, watching Taehyung walk away. His words echoed in your mind—Did you really love me? Did you leave me because I'm poor?—and with each step he took, it felt like you were losing a part of yourself. But you couldn't move. You were trapped between the past and present, torn between your heart and the consequences Jimin warned you about.

Jimin stood beside you, his calm demeanor masking the turmoil he felt inside. He had been your constant, your protector, but never the love of your life. And yet, here you were, standing beside him at the altar, marrying him to save your family from their financial ruin. The weight of that decision crushed you as Jungkook waited for your answer, still kneeling, his eyes pleading for forgiveness.

The crowd was silent, every pair of eyes glued to the unfolding drama.

"Y/N, say something," Jisoo whispered urgently, trying to snap you out of the fog clouding your mind.

You slowly turned to Jungkook, who remained on his knee, his hand still outstretched in a desperate plea. His voice was a mere whisper, but it hit you with the force of a tidal wave. "Marry me, Y/N. Let me make up for everything. I still love you."

Your heart thudded painfully in your chest. Jungkook—the boy who had once been your everything, who had left you shattered—was here, baring his soul. But Taehyung's face, his voice, still lingered in your mind, and Jimin's silent presence at your side reminded you of the consequences that loomed ahead.

You stepped back, shaking your head, trying to regain some sense of control. "Jungkook... I don't—" You choked on your words, unable to finish.

Jimin spoke up, his voice low but firm. "Y/N, you need to think carefully. You know what will happen if you choose him. Your family can't survive that fallout." He wasn't threatening you—he was protecting you, reminding you of the stakes. The harsh reality crashed down like a storm around you.

Tears blurred your vision as you looked at Jungkook, and then at Jimin. Finally, you let your gaze drift to the spot where Taehyung had disappeared. Your heart ached, but there was no easy choice. There was no right choice.

"I—I can't do this," you whispered, stepping away from the altar, away from both Jungkook and Jimin. You turned toward Jisoo, her face full of shock and concern.

"Y/N, what are you doing?" she asked, trying to steady you.

"I don't know," you said, your voice trembling. "I just need to think. I need space."

Without another word, you turned and fled the pavilion, running past the stares, past the whispers, and into the empty corridor. Your wedding gown dragged behind you as your mind raced, your heart screaming with regret and confusion.
