Chapter 22: The Meeting

Y/N arranged to meet both Taehyung and Jimin at a quiet café, a neutral space where she could have an open and honest conversation. The café was quaint, with soft music playing in the background and the aroma of freshly brewed coffee filling the air.

Taehyung arrived first, his expression a mix of hope and apprehension. He waited at a corner table, his gaze darting to the door every few moments. Jimin arrived shortly after, his demeanor calm but resolute. He took a seat across from Taehyung, acknowledging him with a nod.

Y/N: (taking a deep breath) "Thank you both for coming. I've had a lot of time to think, and I need to be honest with you."

Taehyung: "We're listening."

Jimin: "Go ahead."

Y/N: "Taehyung, you've been a huge part of my life, and your love has always been special to me. I've realized that the feelings I have for you are still very strong. However, I also recognize the commitment I made to you, Jimin, and the life we've built together."

Jimin: (nodding) "I understand."

Y/N: (looking at Jimin) "Jimin, you've been my rock, and I truly value everything we've shared. But I can't ignore the fact that a part of me still yearns for what I had with Taehyung."

Taehyung: (hopeful) "So, what does this mean?"

Y/N: (turning to Taehyung) "I've decided that I need to follow my heart. I want to give our relationship another chance. I believe that we owe it to ourselves to see if we can build something together again."

Jimin: (sighing) "I see. Thank you for being honest with me. I won't stand in the way of your happiness, even though this is difficult for me."

Y/N: "I'm truly sorry, Jimin. You deserve someone who can fully commit to you without hesitation."

Jimin: (standing up) "I hope you find what you're looking for, Y/N. Take care of yourself."

As Jimin left the café, Y/N felt a pang of regret but also a surge of relief. She turned to Taehyung, who looked at her with a mix of love and trepidation.

Taehyung: "Are you sure about this?"

Y/N: (smiling through tears) "Yes, Taehyung. I'm sure. I want to try again, and I hope we can find our way back to each other."

Taehyung: (reaching out) "I'm here for you, Y/N. I'll do everything I can to make this work."
